Last months I've been and am still playing Ridge Racer and Ridge RACER Revolution on PSX.
With Ridge Racer at the start of the TT Extra I looked at the time of GramouchH59 and noticed his lap time and best total time was exactly (even on the millisecond) as the default mentioned time records. As I already saved (and overwrote the default times) with better times on the previous 'Extra' tracks I couldn't verify if he just copied those also over on VGR.
But now I am just starting to play Ridge Racer Revolution and with that game he did exactly the same. He just copied over all default time records of Namco: e.g. (Free Run Type R) Novice best lap 1'10''765 / best time 4'10''765.

In fact all the x'x''765 scores are default Namco scores.

I am not the guy to betray people, but this guy scores should be removed as he earned on Revolution a bronze medal without actually playing the game. And maybe all of his race scores. He played a lot of race games but don't know if he did the same there. I am not wasting my time investigating those.

Just to let you know. I'll leave it up to the admins to decide.

I think I can investigate this, because I own 5 games in common with him, and I don't see other admins better know the problem.
But unfortunately, I'm not sure to do it soon, because I'm quite busy in the next 4 months.
So, sorry, but be patient for my investigations.

From now, we can at least delete his default scores (finishing with x'x''765), and you can also ask him for proofs in Ridge Racer and in Ridge Racer Revolution. I can and I will help you for that.
Nobody mentioned this, probably because it gives easy times to beat, and so easy platinums.

This player is suspicious, because he gets only 1 proof in 983 scores.
Also, I finally found that he posted default scores in V-Rally 2:
Gramouch59 posting default times on V-Rally 2
All his scores in V-Rally 2 were deleted.

But for the games you underlined, it can also be a misunderstood from him, rather than a dangerous cheat.
I will investigate this before the end of the year, don't worry.

He is not active anymore so it's pointless to ask for proof.
It's not that easy to break the default scores. But maybe I am a too lousy racer. hehe.

I asked him for 2 proofs in Ridge Racer Revolution.
If we can't know if these times are true, proofs ask system is nice for that, because, at least, these 2 records should be deactivated after 15 days.
For racing games, I agree with you: greendayseb and me, we know how it can be difficult to beat the default times (especially in the WRC series ). Good game, have fun with crashes


I checked Gramouch59 has 19 default times in Ridge Racer Revolution.
Admins, please now delete these 19 times (finishing with x'x''765).

All Namco default scores ending on .765 should be removed as those are not played by a player.
