Hi,
I was wondering if records only avalibale with amiibo can be considered DLC ot not.
Let me take an example:
I want to add the game "Mega Man Legacy Collection" . It is avaliable on PS4, XBox One, PC and 3DS.
There is 54 timed challenges in this game and so 54 records. However, in the 3DS version you can unlock 11 extra challenges with the right amiibo. How does this affect how the game will be added on VGR?
I see 2 possibilities:
-amiibo content is considered DLC. That makes sense because you've paid for something that unlocks content in the game. In that case, there needs to be 2 "Mega Man Legacy Collection" on the site, one for PS4/XONE/PC with 54 records and one for 3DS with 65 records.
-No amiibo content in permitted since not everyone has easy access to it and "Mega Man Legacy Collection" will have 54 records for all four platforms.
That's all I wanted to say, I hope this question was not asked before (I did not find anything when I searched for it), obviously it matters for all games with amiibo content and not MMLC, I just figured out it was a good example of the situation.

I feel that they should be separate anyway since the first three are "Home" Consoles, and the 3DS is a Handheld.
I think it should be considered DLC. It is impossible to unlock those extra stages without the Amiibos, correct? If that is the case, Then it kind of is like DLC, though you may not be Downloading the content but rather downloading the Access to that content?
