I'm curious and interested, so I tested this game on smartphone (Android), for 2 days.

I also read comments on Google Play Store.

The smartphone version is clearly different, with no distinction between Moving/No Move/NMPZ modes, and no possibility to see the same type of screen like some picture proofs already sent.

There is also "gameplay" differences (tactile scroll/zoom, time delays, ...).

So please remove Android and IOS tags from this game (as I suppose the 3 VGR members played on PC version).

I think I will propose to add this game for Android/IOS version later.

I hope that the copy game tool will be not bugged again (since... Spring 2025 !), and functional in September, because it would be helpful here (and not only here).

It seems that you can play in no move/nmpz modes, but i don't find the leaderboards anywhere...

You're right, the game is different, and you cannot really compete against PC players if you play on Android, but it's the same account. A computer player can log in on Android and have the same scores.

I suggest not adding Android/iOS platforms at all, because kind of all GeoGuessr players play on PC.

I'm at level 24 in the Android version, and for the moment there is neither No move, nor NMPZ mode, but just Classic and Country modes.

As already said, we need to distinguish the PC version (alone) with smartphone (Android/IOS), and I will probably help to propose the smartphone version later, I need to go further in the game.

Yuri, even if the majority play on PC, we can propose the smartphone version on VGR, if there is at least one member interested.

It is different, but it exists (like Streets of Rage 2 classic, that you own).

Imagine a PC player who gets an excellent score. He logs into the Android version and posts from the Android version. How can you be sure that his record was achieved on a phone then?

I installed the application on the Play Store and was able to access to the ranking, but yes, you can't choose the right game mode (on the leaderbord). The solution for people who don't have a PC would be to open Geoguessr on their phone's browser and post and prove it like that.

si les scores sont lié au compte et pas à la machine, ça sert a rien de faire deux version sur le site.
s'il suffit juste de faire le score sur le pc et ensuite d'ouvrir le telephone pour avoir le meme score, alors c'est inutile et on garde les deux version ensemble.

Je ne comprends pas bien pourquoi tu insistes sur le fait que le score soit lié au compte ou pas, ce n'est pas le plus important.

Car je répète (en français, pour la 4ème fois) que la version smartphone du jeu ne possède pas les mêmes modes: la distinction Moving/No Move/NMPZ n'existe pas, ou ne peut pas s'afficher dans les modes smartphone Classic ou Country.

Les joueurs qui auraient la version PC et la version smartphone et un seul compte n'auraient de toute façon pas les mêmes modes de jeu.

A la rigueur, seuls les points par pays sont identiques (25 000pts max par pays), mais ça ne justifie pas un regroupement complet des versions.

Le gameplay reste aussi différent, ainsi que des temps de chargement différents...

Sur Android, je suis au niveau 44, et pour l'instant je ne vois que des scores possibles affichés dans le mode Classic.

J'attends de progresser davantage, au cas où il y aurait des modes supplémentaires débloquables par la suite.

et si je demande la confirmation, le faite que tu dises 4 fois la meme chose ne changera rien, j'ai quand meme besoin de cette information
si je vais un score sur le pc et sans avoir toucher a la version telephone, je lance le jeu pour la première fois et que ce même score s'affiche alors on va pas séparé le jeu, car on aura aucun moyen de savoir ou il a était fait
c'est tout ce que je demande pour le moment, me dire si le score suit le compte et pas la machine.
 

Le score est lié au compte Foxof, je l'ai plus ou moins fait sous-entendre sur mon post le 02 Août... C'est pour ça que j'ai supprimé les versions iOS / Android et qu'elles ne méritent pas d'être sur le site, c'est trop galère pour différencier les plateformes, c'est même presque impossible

Et maintenant je l'ai, donc il n'y a aucun intérêt a faire une version séparé.

La question n'est pas de savoir si c'est intéressant ou pas d'avoir 2 versions, mais de savoir si elles sont différentes, et c'est le cas.

Si on joue sur smartphone, pour la 5eme fois , on n'a pas les modes Moving, No Move, NMPZ, ET le gameplay est différent.

On voit sur la preuve si on joue sur PC ou smartphone.

Il faut donc séparer ces versions, ce n'est pas un choix par intérêt pratique ou autre.

mais tu peux tres bien faire une preuve sur ton téléphone avec un score fait sur le pc vu que ton score est lié a ton compte, c'est ça que tu ne comprends pas
