Why not separate time for Super Mario All-Star (Super Mario Bros.) and Super Mario World with or without Checkpoints?
Super Mario World: No CheckPoint with all Secret Exit & Normal Exit:
https://www.cyberscore.me.uk/game/1753
Super Mario All-Star: No CheckPoint for Super Mario Bros.
https://www.cyberscore.me.uk/game/2222
It's just a question I'm asking myself. Because on VGR, the best times are done with Checkpoints while on Cyberscore, they do it only without a checkpoint. It makes me a little confused all that.

I think that all came from wii-records.
From Super Mario World, remember that there is a glitch available that allow you to finish all in few seconds. I did in past and all was OK.

It is now forbidden on VGR Zimer. It's for Cyberscore too. And then, each run will be done within 10 seconds.
A tragedy will be longer if it is done in full rather than 3/4.
I would like better a separation without Checkpoint and another with Checkpoint. The speedrunner prefers to do a whole circuit instead of half when we want to finish a level as quickly as possible without any help.
I do not go on Wii-Record for a long time. My place is on VGR and Cyberscore.

If you compare the times done on Cyberscore (without checkpoint) and those on VGR (with checkpoint), there is often a difference of 10 seconds between times. There are none on the Switch Palace because there are no checkpoints. On some secret passages, there is no checkpoint either.

Lucario asked me explanations about differences between NTSC and PAL. So, here are the explanations:
* Super Mario Bros: Is not easy to find differences. Best times are done using checkpoints, but some times played in PAL version are not possible to obtain in NTSC (differences are only by 1 sec). If I remember correctly some examples are stages 3-2 and 7-1. There are more.
* Super Mario Bros 3: Mario jumps higher in NTSC than PAL, but flying speed is better for PAL. PMniac and I found that differences. Level 3-2 played by me (0:30) and PMniac.
* Super Mario World: Time goes faster in NTSC and Mario has better speed in PAL. All is in this video for first stage. Also scroll levels are faster in NTSC than PAL.
* Super Mario All-Stars: In first instance Wii and SNES versions should be merged since no differences between consoles. Differences that I explained in Super Mario Bros 1 are the same. Strategies for levels 7-3 and C-3 doesn't work for nothing for PAL in Lost levels. Personally I never played Super Mario Bros 3 for Wii/SNES.

Thank you very much Zimer for these explanations! It allows me to think about some levels of the beginning of the game Super Mario World like Yoshi's Island 2 where some French can do 381 seconds while me, I can not do better than 380. I wonder if it is not because of the cape.
If Mario is faster in PAl than in NTSC, that's a problem. Because I can never make a time ending in '' 1 '' whereas I often stop with '' 0 ''. We should think about separating the European versions and the American versions of the game.

This change may cause several problems. I will be able to lose one of my masters badges and that I have to start all over again. There must be a way to separate the versions without touching the players' times and transferring them to the right places. Also, it is necessary to know if the players have the American versions of the game or the European version. Some people would be willing to get both versions to play.
