I remember that game. It was my favorite game on SNES.
Since this glitch Orb can be taken to any level and you can finish the level within seconds, I don't think it would be allowed. I think the main reason would be that it does not require much skill to obtain the \"Orb\" and No skill at all to finish the level with the \"Orb\", but I am not the one who decides these things. It doesn't matter much to me if they are allowed or not, to be honest.

i dont play mario speedruns much, but i think this dont should be allowed because its like a \"select and leave the Level\" Item.
1 more Point that Super Mario World need Video Proof. I mean: you can use the Orb near at the end of a Lv too and degrease the \"possible time\" for 1-2 sec and on a picture it looks like Mario cross over the finish line.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.
I didnt tried speedrun this game yet (ScaryDodge did and had some problems with 1-1 which scared me. And I never finished the GBA version of this game) but i already thought about what undead said.
You don't have to worry if i send any records to the game, I will upload the video (since the beginning of the level or halfway idk how to speedrun this game until i study it) and send a print of the video.

In my opinion, following the principle of VGR team he should be allowed. Otherwise, remove the SMW Ranking.

Zimer. :
I repeat, I have used similar glitches in other Mario games and resulted in banned glitches.
Well then I know Why you would want to make sure it is 100% Sure that it is Allowed, because if You post your New Scores and then VGR says it is not allowed, you would have to redo all your times. Ok. We need to wait until more admins come to share their decisions.

Hi everyone
VGR has always allowed the use of glitches and, in this case, I don't see any reason to prohibit its use...
There you have it everyone. That means it is allowed, and Zimer and anyone else can continue to use the Orb Glitch.
I repeat, I have used similar glitches in other Mario games and resulted in banned glitches.
Can you give me a link to one of the topics where the glitches had been forbidden?

ok then i bring back your memorys about the Tetris Max score glitch for the NES.
We discuss so many times about this, but later it was forbitten because some ppl was thinking it ruins the competition.
Nice to see that a \"competition destroying glitch\" for some ppl are fine to be allowed for SMW
if this happen, then i will post my 999.999 score again on Tetris for the NES because its not forbitten then

any glitch present in a game is allowed on VGR,
so, this glitch is allowed too.
when tou said It kills the competition, you're right, and I agree with that, but Undead has resume all is this:
if this glitch is forbidden, we have to impose a video proof for each level, and you can see that all pictures profs were accept... like the times of Hikari and Zimer. on the first level...
yesterday, I would come on this competition, but with this glitch, it will be without me, and if you're thinking like me it kills the competition, there's a single solution = don't post on it, and take your way!
