Not sure where to put this, so feel free to move to correct place. :smile: Apparently, Sol-Solo has used Unlimited Nitrous cheat available in the game to get his times. So I'm asking should this be allowed or not? Global rankings in the game doesn't allow these times on the leaderboards. You can see from the proof pics that his times are not recorded on the global rankings. And his times being ~20sec faster (depending on the course) than the global ranking #1 times. As I'm probably going to post records for this game, I would like to get this figured out. I'm in the favor of not using unlimited nitrous, but we could have another set of records for unlimited nitrous use if someone wants them.

Yes, I have Unlimited Nitrous used. This I did not cheating, it is in the course of the game unlocked. A glitch is something, such as the records of 33Tails here: http://www.vgr-fr.com/Circuit-Best-speed-groupe-g847.html Displays that do not mean Recorde in global ranking. Maybe has to do with the fact that my PS3 is not online. @ Smoka: Why did not I previously wrote a PM?

I was wondering about this, because the official leaderboards don't accept unlimited nitrous times. But as Zimer said, in VGR these are allowed. I wasn't sure about this, so that's why I asked before posting records.

According to the site rules, cheat codes are not allowed(check site--rules at the top of the page), but if its an in-game reward than i wouldnt really call it a cheat

Yes, that's what I thought, that all cheating is prohibited. I wouldn't call it an in-game reward, though the cheat is unlocked from the career mode. In the time trial, you can switch it ON and OFF from the settings. When switched ON, your record won't be saved in the in-game leaderboards. That's enough for me to call it a cheat. This same cheat is available in Ridge Racer 1 & 2 for PSP by holding the select button. All my records are made without the cheat, but I have a feeling that some of the others have used this. I talked about this with 33Tails couple of weeks ago, but haven't heard back from him since then.

Goldeneye is another example where you can unlock cheats and use them, with the same "punishment"(the time not beingsaved) As for a comment further up(zimer), cheats have NEVER been allowed here Glitches have, cheats havent, although you thinking cheats are allowed does not surprise me.

There is not a cheat, I'm Unlimited Nitrous in the game unlocked, and thus drove the Time Trial.

You think it's not a cheat simply cause you unlock it in the game? I'm sure you know you can turn it on/off from the menu. I think I explained pretty clearly earlier, why I think of it as a cheat. Simply how the official leaderboards won't save your time if use it.

I can see both sides to this, as it's an in game reward rather than a "cheat", however, the game not acknowledging the time has got to be the major factor in whether the times are allowed or not

I would not mind, if we open a new category for it. Maybe: [b]TT in "Globus-Rank"[/b] [b]TT out "Globus-Rank"[/b] ("Globus Rank" I've taken over from the German.)

Hello, Are the top RR7 records going to be removed because the Unlimited Nitrous Boost was admittedly used? There is no point in competing at this time, it makes these top records impossible to beat without it, and now that the Unlimited Nitrous Boost is not permitted, it presents this problem.
