Sonic Adventure DX Ring Problem

Since you're able to get rings in the action fields, are you able to get these rings so you can add them to the total in stages?  For example, you get 100 rings in Station Square.  Then you complete Emerald Coast as Sonic and get 300 rings.  Would you be able to submit 400 for rings, or would it be 300 rings?

This would also affect the score bonuses as well
Especially for E-102 Gamma's stages.

Are Adventure Field rings allowed or not?

I don't know the game but if there's, for each level, a summary of rings caught into the level (depending on bonuses or not), this is the value you need to enter on VGR.

VGR can't tell if we're counting on bonus levels or not, we let the game choose.
