As we know from Zuma, Pic Pic and now Pokemon Rumble Blast is affected by a bug which posts scores as either 0 or as phantom scores. Despite attempts to get rid of the bug, it unfortunately still remains.

As we cannot get rid of the bug, I suggest we get around it. And this is what I recommend:

1 - We limit the number of records that can be in a category to 150. As magicbart has pointed out early in the Zuma discussion, categories that big are not affected by the bug. While this may lead to having more categories in a game, it shouldn't be bugged

2 - A warning is posted on the 3 games mentioned stating that you cannot use the \"submit my scores\" tab. This has been mentioned numerous times before and has been overlooked, but it would prevent the bug from being activated

3 - When a game is suggested that has a lot of records in a category, a mod/admin/adder informs the user that the categories must be split to prevent bugging

4 - On Zuma, the big record categories are split up into roughly 150 post categories, comprising of 5 levels each(that would be approximately 120 records each).

***#4 is only an idea, it's not as important as the other 3

I would like to see what other users think and alternatives they would suggest themselves. This is a problem that would save the mods/admins time and hassle, as well as players having to go in and alter many records.

«soumettre mes scores\" onglet.

Since I don't have those games to post for, I don't know about the bug, But I trust you that it exist. So, if it really is that bad, I think your idea is good, but I don't think it should be a permanent solution. It should be temporary until the VGR Team can fix that bug.

EDIT: I looked at the Recent Scores and loooked at 33Tails' Posts on Pokemon Rumble Blast and I see what you mean by Phantom Scores. XD WOW That is a bad bug that needs fixing, and Your idea Looks a lot better seeing how this bug is that bad.

Yeah it's a strange one. It's a problem that magicbart has tried to fix numerous times, but I think finding ways to avoid it happening AND trying to solve it would make life easier for everyone

Even a warning or news article(which I keep suggesting) would reduce the number of times the glitch happens

This just came to my mind... What if the VGR team makes a program or something that stops you from editing/submitting more than a set number of scores. Not only that, but also a Warning Sign like you said, but Saying that you can only edit/submit up to a Certain Amount (example: 50 at a time).
When a player reaches the limit, Just Send the Scores and then Return to the \"Submit my scores\" and continue like that.
That would mean we could keep the Record Groups the way they are and not have them split up.
Does this sound like a Possible Idea? Since I have not experienced all the issues with this bug, I can't tell if this would fix all the problems... well

It's a problem that wasn't here before. magicbart says that he'll resolve the problem, but he didn't correct it yet. If it's a little long to correct, we can apply the second idea to says to the members that they may not use multiple posts in these games since the bug is corrected.

Bad english smile

Not use the multiple-submit is not a solution! (its a temporary solution...but not final)

Split the records in subcategories is the better solution in my opinnion!

But 150 is not the limit! For sure it is safe at least for 250 records...so I suggest raise the limit.

We only need a temporary solution because the problem will be fixed.
