I've already created a thread about this, years have passed, promisses were made, and everything remains.
So we reached the conclusion Hahaae's D-Pad on his GBA is broken, and there's no way to do the speed glitch on that game, which requires to press both Left and Right directional arrows at same time, which is impossible on the original D-Pad of Game Boy Advance /SP / Micro, or Nintendo DS Phat/ Lite in case you play on them.
Please do something...

Yes and I plan to play this game in the future, but I wont while those scores achieved on an different way remain, and I think this was already discussed in the past. For some reason I can't find the thread. :/

Oh yeah. T-Man was the original reason I started competing with backwards sprinting (my original times didn't do it). Except his runs took 10x less skill than mine because he just used the flower + invincibility star and flew through the entire level with backwards sprinting instead of making a path, lol.

You can't because there's no way to determine whether or not it was used in those games. Also, a decent amount of players use it instead of 1-2 players, and for SMK, every World Record since ~2004 has used it, so naturally there is a lot of competition for it. Same with MKSC; ZZMT has been in use since ~2007. The official communities opted not to ban it, but rather encourage it, and it should be the same here.

Except it can't be encouraged because it is against the rules
