The tricky thing about this specific chart for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is that your "Total High Score" (All Fighters) is NOT measured by each characters Total in-game time, but rather by how many enemies you've Defeated. Here's the link for this chart:

Here are the rest of the other installments within the Series: (Shown below in the Proper order.)
Super Smash Bros. Melee - 100 - Man Melee - Total (All Characters):

Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Multi-man - 100 - Total (All Characters):

Basically if you defeat all 100 enemies with Wolf & Ken, instead of both their times being combined, the total will actually say "Defeated: 200" instead.

Just checked out Super Smash Bros. Wii U & saw that even if you complete the 100-Man challenge with some characters only, it won't show their times combined, but rather only the character below that has the quickest time in. In Smash Ultimate, the difference is that it counts how many enemies you've defeated total with multiple fighters. It's possible that maybe you do have to defeat all 100 enemies with ALL the fighters in order for the Combined Total to change from the Number of Enemies Defeated to all of their own Times added up instead.
