I got explanations from him, he did his scores using a hacked game, where some coins "reappear" after a certain time.Djon :
In this level there are only 104 coins, i NEVER see much coin on the Internet so i'm think it's a fake..
It's not allowed by VGR policies, so I asked him to replace them by his scores on the normal game, don't reject them immediately ;)

Glozboy :
I've noticed Anjo Gabriel has just posted a time on Kalimari Desert (Mario Kart 64 PAL) that's 10 seconds faster than the current record.
I think he might have meant to post it in the NTSC version? That kind of time isn't possible in Time Trial PAL.
The problem is that his version is a PAL version of the game. as I've mentioned to djon before, Brazilian PAL is similar to NTSC. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PAL#PAL-M_.28Brazil.29
Personally, I think he may be using an emulator.(I apologise if I'm wrong on that though)

I've checked his F-Zero X (PAL) proves pictures, and they're, (as I thought), done on 60Hz. Maybe he isn't aware of his speed? But I'm sure he's playing in 60Hz, which means he is supposed to submit his times to the NTSC section. He used to post his records in NTSC a little while ago, why suddenly change to PAL? I'm starting to wonder if he is doing it on purpose, or yeah...
by the way, many of the NTSC records posted back then were ''crooked cart'' records, so I wouldn't be surprised to see more cheating be him.

The problem (and I didn't think I'd say this) is probably with the names of the games, since, if he's playing the Brazilian version of the game, it will be a PAL game running at 60hz.
List of countries that use PAL(of which you'll notice Brazil is in)
If he's playing the Brazilian version, then he would be entitled to post in the PAL games because those are the versions he'll be playing, it wouldn't be his fault. They might be better off being renamed at 50hz and 60z instead of pal and NTSC.
CGN, on a side note, do those pictures on F-Zero look legit or do they look like they are done on an emulator?

Yeah, I though the same, but still... He posted his records to NTSC before, so he should be aware of what he's doing.
It's kind of difficult to say if his times are done on an emulator or not. How sharp the graphics are, looks quite diffrent depending of what TV you're using. And the textures on emulators are quite alike the ones on console in F-Zero X. Those pictures are not enough to prove if it's done on an emulator or not. But it's however possible to tell that he did the records in 60Hz by a few other reasons.

Good news :)
More points and medals for us.
I recently submitted times/scores for:
Mario Party 2 (NTSC)
Mario Party 4 (PAL)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Slot Car Derby 1 and 3 are on video, still need to make.
Pictures of Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Party 4 are coming soon.
I'll submit my Mario Kart DS mission times and my Super Mario 64 DS later.
I don't have a DS myself, but a friend came with his DS and I asked his DS immediately LOL.
Oh, and, the reason why I submitted for NTSC and PAL is because my Virtual Console Games on my Wii are NTSC.
Mario Party 4 for Gamecube is PAL. But don't worry, I always have atleast 1 video proof of out of region games to prove I have a certain version of that game.
Too bad you can't submit videos on the site yet, but I'll post them here.

thelegendarypsr :
They are fine where they are at the moment as they fall into the correct category. They are times done on a PAL console, so they should go on the PAL game.
The games need changing to 50hz and 60hz, then the records should be moved
Hardly 'fine' when people without a Brazilian console can't reach the best times.
I worked hard for my times and now they've been completely de-valued by someone with an unfair advantage.
