Can any admin take responsability and do their job or does nobody care about fake scores in here? I think this is not right, especially with someone caught cheating countless times which is a big hit on VGR credibility.

Who? I didn't get that proof personally.

The administrator that received video is magicbart. PMniac and other proof admin received that video.

This is a screenshot of the video with last mission cleared showing that 2nd player wasn't used.

PMniac has knowledge of number of credits, reason of accusation. With some skills gone score is lower but it has strenght to compete with submitted score.

First, thank you for your details concerning Metal Slug.
But you started this topic the 27th December, when most of us are in Christmas holidays, which is a particular period of the year, and whatever are your convictions.
You need to understand that we give time to VGR when we can, and it is still a volunteer and unpaid activity, and there is many other priorities in life.
After, in VGR especially, of course the accusations of cheating are an important problem.
But if you realize how many members are here, how many scores (and updated posts) they sent, you can imagine how many problems it can induce, and how many time is needed to solve all of this.
And for a unknown person like you with no scores in VGR yet (strange ?), you should be more tolerant.

I agree that the Zimer's case is a difficult one, due to his cheating past with use of not authorized emulators. Admins know that, and they don't forget it.
But they choose to trust Zimer again. Since he's back, he tried to clear misunderstandings, and furnish  proofs for each score (more than 11000..., few members can do this), this is the right behavior.
If magicbart and PMniac are contacted, let them time to study this problem in details.
If you check the other waiting problems, some are not yet archived, so yours will be treated when they can.  

After, what you underlined (multiplayer use) is of course forbidden (article 2.1 of VGR Rules), but for me it's more a problem of how VGR show what is allowed in a specific game, and what is not.
And there is many games   where these special details should be clearly written, like the obligation to proove by video only, or to see the type of console or pad used...
I wait this since more than 4 years, but this should be solved in the next VGR version (2019 ? ).

It also underlines the problem of versions of games.
Here again, there seems to be a problem between Wii and NeoGeo versions. Like Dark Eon Master said, these 2 versions were accepted. We grouped them for a better competition in VGR, and mostly because there seems to be no differences.
If you're not agree, after the Zimer's problem, you can open another topic to ask for splitting these versions.

Please be patient, mostly for PMniac answer, because he should be the referent person concerning this Metal Slug problem.

Zimer has sent me a video where he clears the final stage and gets a Total score of 3834190 (better than everyone on the site) and it shows no use of multiplayer.

Zimer has proved us to be skilled and knowledge in many many games, and this one is not an exception!

Zimer is free of the multiplayer accusation, the video shows us that!

Where is this video? In the video i linked the problem is this:
-He scored 3.4m with game over at the beginning of Final Mission. For comparison the TG record (MS1 - 2.2m) is 2.2m with only 1 life sacrificed instead of 4 in Mission5 and game finished, so if he sacrificed 4 lives the score would be 2.2m + 400k x 3 = 3.4m. So zimer score of 3.4m cannot be explained.

Ask Zimer if you can see his video, he is in his right if he doesn't want to.
He provided it to the admin team for us to analyse.

That way it keeps competition without revealing the best tricks to other people.

I saw it, and to my eyes the only problem of Zimer is that he is not good "to talk".
He wants to keep his strategy not known, and of course I can understand that (I may do the same), but in that case it makes people mistrustful.
Because he does not want to give hints on the strategy, and when people have doubts and you already have been in a bad position.. it doesnt help.

His records on some games amaze and surprise me, he is really skilled on some licences that I know really well, and by seeing his proofs and run on YouTube he has now deserved his status, to my eyes.

I will just encourage Zimer, to send sometime your all run/vidéo proofs that people will have no doubt anymore.

On the meantime, I will create soon a post to split Wii and original game version, specially on "farm score", because of the advantage of the wii pausing feature.

Ok so i've seen the video. The problem is this: in zimer video (MS1 - 3,834,190) the  score obtained in Final Mission is about 345k points, in the video of TG record (MS1 - 2,226,750) the score from Final Mission is about 273k points. In TG video difficulty is Normal and in zimer video difficulty is Hard, which means ennemies have more HP = more points. The difference of score in Final Mission is about +60k points on Hard, that means TG score of 273k points in Final Mission would be 333k points on Hard. So zimer scored +12k (345k-333k) points only in Final Mission compared to TG record.
In TG video the player sacrificed 1 life only instead of 4 which means his total score would be: 2,226,750 + 400k x 3 = 3,426,750 points. Because of this difference, the video of the full run is mandatory to verify if his score is honest.

In this game to obtain a total score of 3.8m you must use advanced patterns but zimer didn't use any. For example at time 08:45 in zimer video, if you use a difficult pattern with high precision you can obtain +40k points but zimer obtained +5k points only. Other example is final boss: if you shoot him until he's almost dead, you can stop shooting and wait for a particular attack that makes him immortal so you can increase score during that phase until time is almost finished. If you are expert you can obtain +110k points with this pattern but zimer obtained +1k points only. His performance from start to end of Final Mission is normal skill/patterns and corresponds to a total score of less than 3.6m. For this reason is necessary to see complete video.

I know that tricks, and I eliminated it fast because I had less than 5 minutes to leave the house in that day. That trick is shown in Anthology.

Thats not what your video shows, in Anthology (MS1 - Anthology) you scored only about +15k points with this pattern. Besides the video is segmented so you possibly used save/load. For comparison the best patterns are all shown here: MS1. If you look at Final Mission you can see all advanced patterns are achieved but none in zimer play. If you use basic patterns like knife on soldiers and weak weapon on other ennemies you can get more or less 3.6m depending on bonus RNG, then if you want higher score you have to use more and more advanced patterns. The conclusion is that since zimer didn't use any advanced pattern it means he used cheats to achieve 4m.

Besides the video is final mission only, he could have used cheats in the rest of the game especially since he plays on a hacked console, total score doesn't match with his skill, he never showed complete video and his scores on other site were proven fake. Is that enough reasons to raise doubts?

2- Youtube doesn't allow me to upload long videos (over than 15 minutes). Every attempt (there are few) is interrupted during the process.
3- Time that could take it. My video of 3.8 millions took me near than 4 hours for 14 minutes. I had to cut the end (where a player put initials) to get not over than limit.
4- Possible interruptions during gameplay. In video I had 3 (all muted and last 2 were serious).

I'll post strategies that I used later.

You can upload to VGR for example, video should be around 1h20min if you play with 5 lives. And about strategies i linked above a video with all the best strategies that zimer only failed to achieve, which is the main evidence that his scores are fake. All the rest are the typical excuses.
