In the next incarnation of the site, could you possibly introduce a Google Translate link next to various things (post subjects, post content, etc.). There would be very little impact on the server as the translation can be done by the browser via the Google AJAX code @ http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxlanguage/documentation/#Examples .
Just a thought for us ignorant British types that still want to enjoy the chat of fellow Europeans. :)
