Error on requesting proof

Hello, when I try to request proof I get an error message. I was wondering how this could be solved. Thank you in advance.

Because you are a newcomer, you probably don't know some details of the site, so we can be tolerant with you, no problem.
Let me explain some things.
First, when you think there is a problem or error with the site, you can write in the Bugs v7 forum.
After, please describe in details the problem, where it happened (for which record, which game).

I checked your proof asks: you did 3 asks yesterday, and one today, for New Pokemon Snap game.
So probably, you went over the "3 asks per day" limit, that's why you can't ask more yesterday.
If that's the problem, then it's normal, and I invite you to read (again, because you already did, right ?) Rules and FAQ, where it's explained. This limit protect us from abuses.

For the moment, there is no automatic message, after you exceed the 3 asks/day limit. 

We already noticed this and a development has been programmed to change this since August.

Sorry if nothing has been done since, but magicbart is the only one developper here and he did not found time to make new (or old) developments since.

We are always searching for helpers and volunteers to make better the site.

Even if we released a new version 7 in 2021, and if things are not well organised and fixed as it was before (still under construction, sorry ...), the most important things are done and effective.

Don't hesitate to write in the forum, if you face difficulties or problems.

There is a limit of three.. daily? Okay I don’t think this is my place. 
I don’t understand why asking a proof isn’t requested by default, especially when someone claims the first place. Someone could post 300 high scores without proof and in order to check all of them it would take 100 days, that’s pretty insane. You have like 2800 unproved scores yourself, that would take almost three years if I wanna check all of them with three asks per day.
Competing against others just based on trust and with this incredible heavy limitation of actually checking if someone is telling the truth, is in my opinion a waste of time. 
I was in a similar community several years ago, where proof were mandatory. I wish I could find that website again.

PS. I just noticed I lost dozens of medals, of course without proof. It would take me four days to check on them.. 

Don't worry, I well understand your frustration.  
Moreover since 2017 when I became Proof Admin in Chief, because I would like that many people send a maximum of proven scores, for both member and site legitimacy.
But you don't know the history of the site, and you probably did not read some topics about this, made in the past.
Note that at the beginning of the site in 2003, proofs were not mandatory, and the site was mainly based on trust.
It's still the case nowadays.
Also, many years ago, not all people possess camera or smartphones to take pictures or videos.
Note that we only moved the video prooving system on YouTube last year.
With VGR Tournaments system (check forum if you don't know what it is), at one period we obliged people to proove, but only their 1st place: it was really counterproductive, and we lost a lot of people unfortunately... 😕
So we finally took a compromise.
Nothing was built easily, especially when it's a volunteer and free time activity.

I don't know what kind of community you are talking about, but I really don't think it can equal VGR with its huge database (more than 5000 games), legitimacy (around 33% proven scores), and stability (since 2003). 
You surely can do better in few games (or hundreds), but not thousands I suppose, and not during decades...🤔

If you think there is suspicion or an abuse in one game, you don't need to ask for proofs for all its records.
Only few asks can lead to study a potential cheat, in all the game in general.
As I told you before, there can also be proof asks abuse, simply to make opponents scores deactivation.
So we put a reasonable limit, 3 proofs asks/day. A discussion about increasing (a little bit) this limit is ongoing.
But of course, people who are not present in VGR since a long time can't answer quickly (or will never come back).
Because almost nobody knows or own thousands of games, we need help and knowledge of any member of the community.
Most of the time, and soon or later, cheaters are identified, with records or profile deletion.

So, please, thanks to understand the situation, and what was made in the past. 😉
Especially when there is many members who played a specific game, if nobody in the past asked for proofs or records verification, then it probably means these members trust what was sent.
People are presumed innocent, until the contrary is demonstrated.
That's why you can find here a fair competition, as trustful as the community is.
