I forget since it's so long since I played S3&K, you can run through Sonic 3 with Knuckles can't you?
Same with Tails and the Sonic and Knuckles levels.

Yes, on S3&K you can play through Sonic 3 with Knuckles. And some stages are modified too for each character. So it's a different game that you have to suggest if you want
