sry, here a suggestion that i have to start with a question:
Game: Crush
Console: PSP.
There are more different scores. but for collecting items:
can I suggest them? the game has checkpoints. so when you die, you don't repeat the whole level, you go back to the checkpoint. all items that you collected after reaching the checkpoint are lost. so you can't get a better score when you die, you get the max that you can get without dieing.
when you exit the level, you have to restart from the beginning, so you can't save during the level. so i don't know, but when i understood this cumulable thread right, this would be accepted like this? or is this also seen as cumulable when you can use checkpoints instead of repeating everything as long as you don't exit a level?

ok, great, so here comes one of the most innovative puzzle games ever made ^^
ps:
- for time scores, checkpoints are no problem: you keep your time when you use a checkpoint (so it's a very bad time when you die a lot), so no advantage there for checkpoints.
