Hi!

After much reflexion, I ended up thinking as view the names of download platforms at the end of the names of each game exclusively downloadable - namely PSN, Xbox Live, and eShop,Steam - is useless.

Until then I felt normal to write it in the name of the game, but in the end I told myself that this isn't part of the names of the games.

For cons, the reference DSiWare is important because only the DSi (XL) have access to these games and not the DS and DS Lite. The same for the WiiWare because Wii Mini, low-cost Wii, can't be connected to internet and therefore can't download games on WiiWare. So all models of DS can't have the DSiWare and all models of Wii may not have the WiiWare. It's therefore important to mention WiiWare and DSiWare games for question.

This is said ! I suggest to delete eShop, Live, PSN and Steam on each games in question.

What do you think ?

pour moi il faudrait tout virer
et s'il y a un jeu qui a le même nom ajouté la l'année de sortie et pas le développeur ou éditeur

Pour certains jeux, c'est utile.

Exemple: Spelunky

I understand what you mean, but if you thought about this a year ago (and if this got accepted) then the "WiiWare" tag would of been deleted off of all the games that had it, then once the Wii Mini would come out, We would have to Rename every game that is a WiiWare Game. Who can say that there won't be something similar in the future like a 1DS with no eShop, or an X-box Mini. lol

Not only that, but some games are both Downloadable software, as well as a Cartridge Game with Different Records, like Plants Vs. Zombies.
Without the Tag, it makes it hard to see which is which from the Beginning.
Although it is for "DSiWare" which you said is ok, what if there are other examples here on VGR but of eShop, PSN, or some other?

Being in the era of online and dematerialized, I do not think one day a family console 3DS will be deprived of the possibility to connect to the internet. Same for the Wii U, PS4 and Xbox One. PS3 and Xbox 360 doesn't have definitavely a version without online.

I think that we must delete Live, eShop, PSN and Steam.

For Spelunky, there is a free version, the other version isn't free, we can write "(free)" behind the Spelunky free version.
