I don't have google translate on but I can confirm there are two maps per track. When you start a game you can choose any of the 5 maps and that will give you a different slightly easier version of the main track. If you complete that first map then you play through all the harder maps up to map 5.
So, pick stage 1 and you will play: stage 1 easy, stage 1 hard, stage 2 hard, stage 3 hard, stage 4 hard, stage 5 hard.
Pick stage 3 as the first stage and you will play: stage 3 easy, stage 3 hard, stage 4 hard, stage 5 hard.
Hope that makes sense. :)

elpierrot17 :
And the 2nd record is save on the game? (the hard?)
But in record, the A and B are same, in the game too or not? You can separate A and B ?
There are 20 different variations: A easy, A hard, B easy, B hard. 10 times are saved in the game but in different locations. The main menu has a \"Records\" link which shows the 5 times only from the hard version of each course. It will show if the best time was achieved using selection A or selection B but does not keep both.
When playing the game, the game will show the best time for the course (easy and hard) but again there is no difference between A or B shown.
When playing, A is with no opponents and B is with opponents. In B, the opponents mean that it is unlikely the time will be the same as A (the opponents take the best paths forcing the player to take less optimum paths).
I do not understand VGR-FR enough to know if this means 5, 10 or 20 different times to be tracked. I believe it is 10 or 20 (not 5 from the main menu).

Ok, if I play in B mode, the record in the screen isn't the same?

EDIT: I read again, if I understand, B or A are same record, just 10 record is better ?

Selection A is basically Time Trial with no other bikes on the track, whereas Selection B is basically GP against lots of other bikes.
Times save for all 20 records.
Also if it has not been mentioned already, this game is very different to the NES version. Some tricks will not work and the timer is slower.

Up.
Conclusion?
Comme je l'avais dit et BenB17 l'a confirmé, il y a 20 records :
0:00:00 Time (-)
Selection A – Track #1 – Part 1
Selection A – Track #1 – Part 2
Selection A – Track #2 – Part 1
Selection A – Track #2 – Part 2
Selection A – Track #3 – Part 1
Selection A – Track #3 – Part 2
Selection A – Track #4 – Part 1
Selection A – Track #4 – Part 2
Selection A – Track #5 – Part 1
Selection A – Track #5 – Part 2
Selection B – Track #1 – Part 1
Selection B – Track #1 – Part 2
Selection B – Track #2 – Part 1
Selection B – Track #2 – Part 2
Selection B – Track #3 – Part 1
Selection B – Track #3 – Part 2
Selection B – Track #4 – Part 1
Selection B – Track #4 – Part 2
Selection B – Track #5 – Part 1
Selection B – Track #5 – Part 2
