I think it is a cumulative score because it was already suggested, but I don't have the game anymore to confirm that. EDIT : http://www.vgr-fr.com/-Giana-Sisters-DS-Suggestion-non-complete--forum-t3481-p1.html A link isn't available but it said that the score was cumulative :)

Yes, it's a cumulative score. You can do the levels over again with keeping the score.

Please just using this topic in a positive way. What's the discretion used here at VGR for incrementing games? What are the differences? http://www.vgr-fr.com/Zuma-Deluxe-Adventure-Max-Combo-Lvl-1-1-record-r172299.html http://www.vgr-fr.com/Dancing-Stage-Mario-Mix-Free-Mode-Super-Hard-Bowser-s-castle-record-r7931.html Why not? Mode Max Combo. or http://www.vgr-fr.com/Super-Mario-Sunshine-Total-Coins-Pinna-Park-record-r5030.html http://www.vgr-fr.com/Super-Collapse-Puzzle-Gallery-High-Score-Level-001-record-r247468.html http://www.vgr-fr.com/Super-Monkey-Ball-2-NTSC-Challenge-Mode-Advanced-High-Score-record-r18189.html among others... http://www.vgr-fr.com/Perfect-Dark-Firing-Range-Bronze-AR34-record-r12513.html Why not? Mode Score I have other examples of Zuma Deluxe, but leaves for another occasion.

... A cumulative score isn't what you link. In Giana Sisters DS, the score is infinite. You can put off the NDS, lost all your lives ... and the score never return to 0. So this records is like "Total Time Played".
Better english than BS
