The game Pokémon Legends: Arceus is a game that I really loved to play and enjoyed thoroughly. I was sad to see that I could not post on the majority of records here on VGR due to the site having the size and weight charts in metric units. I later discovered that if you have your Switch's region set to Europe when starting the game for the first time, it will have measurements in metric units like kilograms and meters. If your Switch's region is set to America (like mine is) when starting the game for the first time, it will have measurements in imperial units like feet and pounds. This usually isn't a problem for other games as changing the language would also change the units, but there is no in-game way to change your language and changing the System Settings language does not change the language of the game in question. I even tried changing the region to Europe, simply to test if the units would change on my file... They did not.

What this means is that there has to be new charts specifically for feet and pounds. 4 new record groups. Since there would be 99% of charts where players from different regions won't be able to compete together, an option was presented by Foxof: Split the game entirely. NA version and EU/JP version (Imperial version and Metric version).

What do you guys think? Please vote for:
1. Adding 4 new record groups within the current game (1,104 new charts)
or
2. Splitting the game into 2 versions, the current one and the new one with Imperial units.

From a purely admin's point of view, I think splitting would be easier for you. I don't mind doing an extra game's badge if you need one.

I guess you can split the two versions, because out of 1104 charts, there are only 4 that are not concerned by the Metric vs Royal system.

When the game options don't allow you to change its units to the International System, sorry but you need to split the game.

Furthermore, note that we also specified this in the VGR Rules (January 2024 update):
"Any type of conversion which doesn’t come from the game is prohibited".
This also leads to split this game.

Yes. I agree as well. I will work on splitting the game. Thank you all for your input. 🙂
