A rather great start!

Hello VGR community!

My name is Robin and I just joined this site. I'm from Germany and 17 years old.
The nickname is from an aunt who always calles me this way.
I started gaming when I received a Nintendo DS at the age of 8. Today I own a DSi and a 3DS (which I use daily). My favourite 3DS games are Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, Etrian Odyssey Untold Mario Kart 7 and also Shantae. And I'm kind of addicted to those Pokémon Free-to-Play games.
In former years I also spent quite a lot of time on Flipnote Studio and Flipnote Hatena.
But overall I've collected a noticeable collection of retail and download games (including DS, DSiWare, 3DS and eShop software).
In the last months I've also started to play a few games on iOS.
I guess there are very much records to post here now.

To sum it up, I seem to be a handheld-only player.

But now I'll come to my starting problems:
I haven't posted any records yet because of this:
During signing up I must have entered a wrong date format. Now it shows up like this:
"Sat 09.m.2016, 14:31"
Is there any way to change this setting or am I supposed to create a new profile?

I'm glad if that works somehow.

You should be able to change the date format but I don't find the option…

But don't worry, you don't need to create an other account, an admin can change your date format for you. Just tell us what date format you want.

Maybe this should be enabled for everyone to change at the account settings. Just a proposal.

I am mostly a Nintendo and Handheld player as well. Only exception is Smash 4 on the Wii U.
I see you play Pokemon Shuffle. Have you tried it on Mobile? More records to post there too.

Thank you for welcoming me! This shows me that there IS an active community here although I've read that there was much more activity once. I've already collected a bunch of medals. :D

Also I like it that many people play Nintendo games in this website. Nintendo's situation hasn't been easy for years and my father always says something that Nintendo doesn't have a real future. But I hope that there are enough players, like shown here.

I've also considered starting Pokemon Shuffle but that would mean even more daily playing addiction.
I don't have the time for it so I'll leave it at playing the 3DS version.

Yes, right. It's like a daily ritual for me to play these games. I'm trying not to pay anything for those games but a few euros went to Nintendo already. ^^

Ah nice. I also play this Games daily and pay not any cent into it

-Shuffle: always trying to reach "content" clear (atm on Zygarde 50%^^)
-Picross: its just a matter of time, but theres also a way to glitch, getting faster Pics.
-Rumble World: it's my "Main" Game i play, i have already every Pokemon, but i try to get the Master badge on vgr^^

Oh and yes, it's maybe strange, but i ALWAYS tell all other ppl here, they should use english for the most part, so new ppl are not scared away of french only (just because of the international Rank on the Site^^)
It would be a little "unfair", if i start talking in german and told other ppl to write in english

Shuffle: It's the same over here. :D I've now caught 418 pokémon including all event pokémon. In the Competitive Stages I always try to get the main prize (mostly the Mega stone). In the actual Zygarde event I'm at level 216 right now thanks to Zygarde's "anger".

Rumble World: How did you get every pokémon if you didn't pay a cent for it? I have played it almost every day since the release (+1€ spent) but I currently have 516 pokémon and I'm still missing a buch of balloons. Good luck for your Master Badge. But maybe there will be someone who challenges you.

Picross: I've just checked out the glitch and it's not bad but I always do my firmware updates so it is impossible now. Didn't know about it before. I've invested 4€ on the game because I really like it.

Shuffle:im atm content clear (beat Zygarde 300 with a Boss Skip of 295+5) and every other Pokemon was already catched (also all Normal Stages on S) Atm im just farming coins on Meowth (37) and Level Up my Pokemon on Ampharos (130)

Rumble World: it's possible by Time, if you have enough ppl playing it. You can get a max of 10 Spotpass visits(from your friends) daily + 3 free (+ more if you spend 10+ 3DS Coins)
My Goal here is also to get 100%, (meaning buying EVERYTHING!^^) Atm i farming Dias. for my Trees (Money Tree are already maxed) and i try to get every Title. I don't waste Dias on useless things like the "Pokepartner".

Picross: im not sure what glitch you mean, but theres a way to play the Daily Training over and over again. So it's a "you need to work" glitch. After 00:00(between 00:01-00:10max, otherwise it dont work) you play the Training just normaly and then after beating it, just close the Game and start the 3DS Menu and set the Clock back to 00:00, save, start the Game and play the Training again, and so on. I called it "you need to work" glitch, because you still need to do something to get the Pics. I play this Game since start and it's just boring to w8 Weeks to play again. I would never pay(even this glitch do not work), so theres no difference if i use the glitch or not. But you still need to play like 1-2 Hour in a row if you want to have enough Pics for a new level (im atm on Stage 23 and this costs 220 Pics) If your timer goes over 10min (after a break) the times over.

In other Words: i just use the glitch if i want to play a new Stage, otherwise your concentration goes down if you would play the Training for like 5h xD

Btw: i have an Youtube Let's Play Channel. I do not play the Pokemon Games(thats my private Games^^), but i play atm Zelda TP Picross and (every day) Nintendo Badge Arcade (Let's Training). If you want i can send you the Link via PM :)

Hey Undead, sorry for the late response. I've had three exams of 'Abitur'. :D

Shuffle: Wow, I'm at level 276 and not really coming any further without items. So I've decided to stop there. Trying to achieve than catching all pokémon is too much for me. I just try to find a balance between costs and profit. However these were great Escalation Battles because my record up to now was 149. Well, maybe I should start spending my 42 jewels.
Have you already seen that new levels have been added on VGR? It's a little empty there.

Rumble World: At least I've reached rank 60 now. I totally forgot about friends because nobody on my friend list really plays it. But I assume you have quite a lot of PRW players. What about exchanging FCs?

Picross: Yes, I exactly meant that glitch. I haven't tried it out yet but I've read that this glitch doesn't work with recent firmware updates. Hopefully I will think at it soon.

I also play Nintendo Badge Arcade. Not a fact to show off but it is surprisingly playable. I'm at 340 badges currently. And I feel like I'm playing enough Picross at the moment. :)
But I'm interested in watching one of your YouTube videos although I don't subscribe anything.

Shuffle for this Game, only the Normal an Special Stages are used for Highscores because the Event Levels comes and goes and always delete your old score.
Im not sure when you started the Game, but i play it since a week after release and found a good group of german ppl on bisaboard.de. There many ppl do not use any real money for this Game, but we sure use the free Gems if we failed a full item run or something else expensive.

Thats include strategies of how to get an S Rang. It's for sure a waste to use -1 Pokemon Item on every stage. Some are needed to get S, but not all :)
And yes: the last big updates was a little bit to big with 1x 40 new Normal Level and then 1x 50 New Level. But don't force you to waste your Gems, only if you realy want to (but keep some for harder events like the Boss Stages in Escalation battles)

Rumble World Yes, i have enough ppl added of daily played ppl, but i had a hard way to find them^^ First i only searched for german ppl, but then i register me on gameFAQ.com because there are still alot ppl playing it :) ( and 1 guy with a way of getting every Vivillon^^)
And sure i can add you :) 2191-8244-2656 (aber nur als Info: solltest du irgendwann nichtmehr spielen, muss ich dich leider wieder löschen, weil ich das "Friendcode System" nur nutze, wenn man es für ein Game nutzen kann. Alles andere würde eh keinen Sinn machen, da die Friendlist vom 3DS ja nichtmal chat oder sonstiges hat^^)

Nintendo Badge Arcade i have atm arround 500+ Badges but still without money used.
My Training Videos are mostly for ppl they want to look how the Catcher works or playing it first and then they show how good/bad i was^^

Shuffle: I have played Pokémon Shuffle since the very beginning. For a long time I was happy without searching for farther information about the game on the internet. Due to this I have missed many prizes of Escalation Battles. Once, after I posted some progress on Miiverse, someone told me that there are actully rewards beyond level 100...
Luckily I was never in a situation when I ran out of tries in Expert or Special Stages while I used full items. But I will keep that in mind. The jewels have better uses thant stockpiling them.

Rumble World: Okay. My FC is 2664-2099-6948. I still know it by heart. :D
Btw, you said that you want to collect all titles. Do you really want to catch each pokémon species 50 times? That would make at least 35.950 pokémon to catch.

(GameFAQs seems to be a great place, even for smaller games. I've read much about the DSiWare game AlphaBounce there, which I've played multiple hundreds of hours just in order to see if there is an edge of the universe. But I found out that that game must have more than 100 million levels...)

Picross: You're right. I've read something wrong. But too bad that it is past midnight now. xD

Nintendo Badge Arcade: I just watched today's Let's Training and I'm just surprised. Surprised that you make a video about this every damn day! And surprised that it's possible to make something big out of this game which is regarded as trash by many gamers. It's a bit sad that you "only" have got 140 subscribers.
I don't show you my look so I won't comment yours. xD
I know you like comments and subscribers but... I don't really want to show too much of my identity and to be honest I can save that time. I'll watch your YouTube videos sometime... when I'm bored.

Rule of Youtube: if you want that ppl see you = make commercial(Werbung) and do something different(like: playing a game, ppl want to see and is not much "over used". The Commercial part was one of the think i don't like too as a LP watching guy, but like you said, you surprised that i have "only" (im happy that i reached over 100! ) 140 subscribers. It's not how many videos you make, it's how many ppl know that you actually DO videos. I started it because, one other guy (Hapablap) started to make LPs and i was just "woot? he realy want to start this with all the "big" LPer we already have?" but then i relised, that he was serious with this. So, after 2 month he startet, i tried it too (with very shy steps if i see my first Mario 64 part xD) and now, here iam
btw: Hapablap is that kind of serious with it, that he already got some "Game donations" from Nintendo and he finished already is 2. Mario Maker competition for his subscribers (a thing i can not do, because of my character, i feeling bad if i ask ppl to help me^^)
Now he have nearly 600 subscribers (and like i said, he startet just 2 moths before me, but he do ALOT more to let his channel grow. Mario Maker was a big help, even more since Domtendo stopped playing it)

Sure im not Gronkh, Domtendo or someone else big, but im happy with the Games i play. Badge Arcade is just a Game i "tried", but in the end, it is now my main Series on my Channel (and i still have fun to play, even if i fail (and i think im still the only german Gamer playing NBA)
And ok, i understand what you mean with internet privaty, just look the videos if you want to

Did you know, that i ignored Shuffle a week before, because it was for me "just a F2P" Game, but after i started it, it was for me a fair use. I mean, content clear for a F2P Gamer like me... this is not always possible. Thats why i still play it. Atm i think i get a good place on M-Blazinken (under 2500) and then i just need to wait what happen nxt week. Oh and yes, we discussing about new updates, but mostly i read it first, after the update happen (just because, if i know it before or after the update, it makes no difference to me^^)

On Rumble World i was serious, because i played the other Rumble Games before (Super Pokemon Rumble im at 716/717 Pokemon with all the differences like all elements of Arceus) and this is not only "just for fun" to me, it's for me like other ppl the main Pokemon Series. I think i spend arround 2000h total in the Rumble Series (also played the Wii Version, but ignored the Wii U Version, because of Arena fights only) Oh btw: i added you xD
And yes, i try to get every Title. Atm i have 621 titles and i have no problem if it takes long, because i first stop playing this Game if a new Rumble Game comes out (if it happen)

Unlike this 2 Pokemon Games, Picross will have an end. On this there's a strict Finish, like getting every Medal. With or without glitch doesn't matter. I play it since 5 day after release and this kind of "F2P" is just awful. But still i don't need to hurry, thats why i just use the glitch if i want to play the nxt area (but yes: im happy if i can finish it, because then i have more room for other games )
