Which games do you own?

I owned All after Fire Red and Leaf Green up to Platinum, then I waited for Grey, which never came out, so I got Black. Then I skipped Black and White 2 and got Pokemon Y.
I also Had Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Explorers of Time and Darkness.
The Only ones I actually still have and working are Platinum, Black, Explorers of Time, and Y.

Favourite Pokemon

My Favorite Types are Dark, Ghost, Dragon, and Steel, So most of my Favorite Pokemon are those Types:
Absol - I think Absol looks so Cool. All Dark and Strong.
Aggron - I like How he is Both Strong in Defense and Strong in Attack and Looks Cool.
Arceus - I really liked how Strong he is and Known as the God of All Pokemon. I like his Signature Move Judgment (Though It used to bug me that it wasn't spelled Judgement)
Swampert - If Raised Well, Can Be Very Tough to Beat. Grass is the only Weakness (Double Weakness at that) but Strong Defense and Ice Beam to take care of those Pesky Grass Types.
Giratina - the First Ghost/Dragon Pokemon so I liked it from the Beginning.
Spiritomb & Sableye - Only 2 Pokemon that Have no Weaknesses. (Not Sure if the New Fairy-Type allows for another Possible No-Weakness Pokemon)
Cyndaquil Evolution Line is my Favorite of all Starters, Don't know exactly why.

My First Shiny wasn't even caught by me. My brother didn't know much about pokemon at the moment and he saw a new pokemon (New to him) so He decided to catch it. I ignored that he caught a Machop, but Once I saw it later, I was like A Shiny Machop!?
My Shinys that are legit:
Shiny Machamp (From Machop)
Shiny Suicune (From Event)
Shiny Crowbat (From Zubat)

I Personally don't like giving them nicknames, but One time (Just to throw off my friend in a Battle) I renamed a Dragonite to DEOXYS, being that I already had a Deoxys in my Party, he Was surprised for a second that I had two Deoxys' until he saw Dragonite come out instead.

Beating the Elite 4 with only one Pokemon in your Party, no Use of Items. You all might think it is easy, but NO IT IS NOT!

Do You Know how Hard it is the Even find a Shiny Eevee Legit? Much Harder Finding it Female and even have its Nature to be Modest. Be back in 20 Years.

There is a pure-electric type with levitate so that has no weakness either

That's a really good job. I haven't even had chance to start on X yet because I'm just finishing up on White 2 and I've got a week off work coming up soon.

I like Absol and Arceus. I went all the way across to Liverpool to get myself an Arceus and it came out with 31IV in both attack and speed which I was very lucky with. I only like the Origin Forme for Giratina, I don't like the look of the normal one. The Electric type with Levitate that Richard referred to is Elektross

I can imagine it can get quite difficult depending on what you used. I would try it on Platinum but I'm still EV training certain things and levelling up a few legendaries at the same time.

I have that Shiny Raikou for trade. The only Base 600 legendaries I'm missing are: Deoxys, Shaymin, Keldeo, meloetta and Genesect. I hope we can come to some sort of arrangement

I missed out the bit where I said it needed to have it's hidden ability. It's not that hard to get. It's only 1 in 8192, then 1 in 25 for Nature, 12.5% chance to be female. I can't remember the odds of it having Anticipation (to transfer to Snow Cloak). It's not THAT difficult

I do have a Deoxys and Shaymin, but Not the others at the moment. Only Normal? or do you want them Shiny? I don't have them shiny, so...

With Fairy Types added, Spiritomb and Sableye aren't No-Weakness Pokemon Anymore!

Is the EV system still there and still so long ?
Beating only some kinds of Pokémon so that yours only improves his ATK/DEF/etc...

Or anything new about this ?

Th ev system is still in but provided that you plan properly it doesnt take that long anyway. The power items are a lot easier to come by because you only need to win 80 battles in the maison to get all 6. Hoard battles also make it easier too. You do need luck to help with getting the pokerus to double evs earned. In my case "luck" means stealing the pokemon that richard is using to spread it on his lol. For example:
Yanma gives 1 speed ev
Equip a power anklet
Face yanma in a hoard battle. Look this up on serebii.net on where the hoard battles are. Youll be surprised how many there.
Thats at least 5 yanmas, each giving 5evs
If you add the pokerus on that it would be 10evs each.

The raikou is modest, 252spa/252speed/4hp and carrying the moves it came with from the event (im posting on my phone so I cant remember rivht now). If you are happy to trade then can you hold onto it for a bit until I get to x and we'll sort something out

I've read a little about it on the net and it seems to be really easier compared to what it was on Diamond/Pearl (my last Pokémon game).
I feel the Pokémon fever coming back to me XD I'll surely buy a 3DS in the coming months.

Which games do you own?
Today, I have only my Y version. In the past, and in a chronogical order : Yellow, Blue, Gold, Crystal, Ruby, Fire Red, Silver, Green Leaf, Sapphire and Pearl. (Yes, it seems that I was a huuuuge fan) I finished Black on an emulator and I never played HGSS and B&W2.
To be honest, Y is my favorite so far.

Arcanine - Oooow, sooo elegant ! Love him. I would like to have a dog who looks like him
Houndoom - This one is so d4rK. No, really, it's a dog again, and he has my two favourite types (fire & dark). His mega-evolution is really swag too.
Umbreon - Cute ! Love his glowing rings
Sylveon - Another eeveelition ! Cutest than Umbreon
Hawlucha - At the beginning, I found his design a little odd, but finally I'm finding him really cool. And his cry...

Any Shiny pokemon?
On Y :
Swalot - Found at 3 hours of playing, in a horde.
Dragalge - Found with Chain Fishing, today : lvl 100 with EVs I think good for him.
Gyarados - Found with Chain Fishing, for all the memories my Gold version gave to me.

What are the faster methods to gain experience ?

I've heard about the "Le Wow" restaurant, but I'd like something simpler, like the Audino farming in B/W. It would be to evolve some Pokémon in order to complete my Pokedex.

I've got the xp O-Power and a lucky egg.
I also know that the hearts level in Poké-Amie gives additional xp, but it's too long to make these hearts increase.

Any other advice ? good places to xp ?

Exp O-Power lvl 3, Lucky Egg, Restaurant Le Wow Triple/Rotation.
Another trick is to ask someone else the pokemon you want so the EXP will be boosted.

The Pokemon Bank has finally been released, does anybody have downloaded it ?
I can't test it at the moment and can't find any information about eggs : is it possible to transfer them or do they need to be hatched ?

Other than quitters I am having fun on pokemonshowdown.com and their simulator.

I have a feeling that a Gyarados with Dragon dance and Moxie may go up to uber

Eggs have to be hatched for Poketransfer and the Pokebank to move them

Under the rules of:
- Not being allowed your six main pokemon(Me: gengar, gyarados, ninjask, cloyster, breloom, terrakion)
- No legendaries
- OU and below only
- The survivors of the winning team are to be used in the next match
- The pokemon that got the winning KO must start the next match

Favourite Pokemon

Scyther! I like quite a few other Bug types too, Pinsir, Heracross, Yanmega. Some of the fossils are cool too, mainly the ones from the first games.

Any Shiny pokemon?

Suicune from the event. I got lucky with its IVs. Also got Raikou but he is forever lost in the Dream World. His IVs sucked anyway and I didn't like him in general.

Skorupi from a swarm whilst EV training in Y.
Bellsprout from a swarm directly after Skorupi, I guess it was my lucky day!

Any nicknames?

I try to nickname everything I use to beat the game, then any Pokemon I train for competitive battles.

My Froakie was called Boggle in the latest game.

Anything that you are proud of?

The streamlied training in the latest games, along with some awesome StreetPass meetups, finally convinced me to train a proper team in the latest games. Got a perfect IV Mega Scizor and Rotom so far.

Anything stupid you’ve done?

I went to the official battle tournament last weekend with a team I'd only just managed to complete at the last moment. Just about to start my first match, one of the officials says my Togekiss isn't Kalos native so isn't allowed to take part. I was grinding super training on the train journey there just to get the shiny stone to evolve the damn thing!
