Hi. Most of you know that New Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario 64 DS have many of the same Mini-Games. Here is the List of Mini-Games that Both games have:
Lakitu Launch
Snowball Slalom
Coincentration
Bob-omb Squad
Sort or 'Splode
Wanted!
Hide and Boo Seek
Puzzle Panel
Which Wiggler?
Mario's Slides
Bounce and Trounce
Trampoline Time
If you pay close attention and compare the Mini-Games from both Games, You will see that most have Slight differences. The Mini-game with the most noticeable difference is Snowball Slalom. The High score chart is different for both. It seems easier to make a better score on the NSMB version.
The Point of this is because I have seen many users post the same exact score they get in one version, and post it on the other as well when they might have not played it on the other version or gotten that same score again in the other version.
I have always posted the score I obtained in the version I obtained it in. So Even If I make a better score on NSMB version, I will not change my SM64DS Version score to match it unless I can repeat my score in that version as well. Lakitu Launch is a Great Example. I made 76 on NSMB but I made 81 on SM64DS. I am not changing my NSMB score to 81 because I did not make it in NSMB.
I ask that the proofs only be accepted if you can tell they did it in that game they post for.
and To all those people who did post copied scores, please edit your score you obtained in that game, not a copy of the score from the other game. If you get 50 on Lakitu Launch in NSMB, and got 45 on SM64DS You cannot change the SM64DS score on VGR to 50.
Well This all is how I feel, but I am open to discuss this. I have noticed many differences, although small, that affect the game enough that the scores are either easier or harder to get in one of the games.

Could you give us an example of similar scores? I watched four games with Lakitu Launch you provide an example. I have not seen any difference. Aside from one or two points close to the score achieved if we compare the two versions.
It is true that they are all the same mini-games. However, they are different from one version to another?

On Lakitu Launch, there are some Formations that only appear in NSMB. Also It is easier to restart with SM64DS and some formations come out more often in this version than in NSMB (The Annoying ones). That is why it is easier (For the most part) to make a better score in NSMB.
In Puzzle Panel, The SM64DS version has the 4-Turn Puzzles and NSMB only goes up to 3-Turn Puzzles

For complicated puzzles, I can not confirm. Because I've never made over seven solutions completed.
Lakitu Launch for I feel that the mini-game is idling.
Should see with experienced players in these games the importance of similarities of these mini-games. I can just confirm that you even got 40 pieces in coincentration mentioned in both games. I'm not the type to post records that I have not done myself.
