Editing a record while a proof is pending

Currently, it is impossible to update a record while a proof is waiting for approval. This means that if you improve the record you have to wait for the now-outdated proof to be approved before editing it, then possibly uploading a proof of the new record only for the process to be repeated.
An alternative is to contact a VGR staff member who can deal with records and proofs every time you want to bypass this restriction, but that would more than likely become an annoyance to both people.
My suggestion is for this restriction to be lifted, because it is a hassle and I also can’t understand why this restriction exists in the first place. (I can understand the restriction existing when proof is uploaded as a result of a proof request, but not when proof is uploaded without being asked for.)

Maybe we will be able to make this kind of solution :
Grey box - no proof : You can edit your score / request a proof / send a proof
Blue box - proof sent not accepted without requesting : You can edit your score / not request a proof. Edit your score makes lost the picture or video sent.
Orange box - requesting proof not accepted : You can edit your score and the man who ask a proof receive a PM explaining that the score has changed.
Red box - request accepted : You can't edit your score. You have to send a proof, whatever it's the good score.
Green box - Proof accepted : You can edit your score. You can send other kind a proof (if proof sent was picture, you can send a video too)
All I said here is just ideas. And there're all possible to program.
