Bugs v7

Please list here all the bugs that you remarked.

It will be tranfered by an admin in an organized document, and treated by order of priority/date of creation.

I start with this:

In the forum, the words are cutted at the end of the typing window. Please create a separation somewhere.

I think Gold Medals counting as Platinum Medals in WipEout Omega Collection is a v7 bug...

I'll list some bugs (surely somebody seported some of them):

• In user profiles there is missing latest score sent, latest score proven by picture and latest score proven by video.
• In user profiles, badges section, missing donation, special and proven scores badges.
• In the forum, missing user list that were online in current day.
• In Medal ranking, number of medals (not matter medal kind) that is over than 9999 is bad displayed.
• No information in master badges.

To all: thanks for your remarks. Note that I'm not responsible of the v7 developement, which was made by magicbart and kloh (design), maybe with viviengaetean (?).

I regret like you all the nice stuffs which were in the v6, but not redone here in the new v7, despite many Council meetings last year.

For sure, I will insist for the comeback of almost all v6 important features, which help a lot for organisation of the site, communication, rules,  and member profile knowledge.

I checked it yesterday, but my forum message was deleted and lost (another bug !).

This game Medal ranking should be:

RemoteFortress: 49 plats, 62 golds, 19 silvers

33Tails: 19 plats, 107 golds, 49 silvers

magicbart will read it and take care of it.

Hello Players, i've beat my own record in the 29/01/2021 on the game Colin Mcrae dirt 2007 Pikes Peak Full.
I could change the time in the scoreboard, but i can't upload a photo to proof my record to this wonderfull web site.
I try 3 diferent internet navigators (firefox, opera and chrome) but i don't found any button or option to do so.
I'm very happy to beat my own record ^__^ but i have to follow te site rules. I Have to proof my record in order to be recognized. Well thats all i hope i can change the photo soon, Thanks Video Game Record staff :) .

Many of these are probably pointed out already on discord, but I thought listing here some too.

-Proofs page/tab completely missing from profile.

-No way to see your deactivated scores and no way to post proof for them.

-No way to remove/replace own proof if accidently send a wrong one.

-No way to edit own video proof url if send a wrong one.

-Website, Youtube & Twitch channel information you can add in your account page, cannot be seen anywhere in your profile.

-Lost medals page is missing the 'remove obsolete' messages button we had in v6.

-Master Badges features from v6 are missing. You can't click them to see how many points you get or see the history of previous owners, which was a cool feature.

-Mouseover the badge and it doesn't tell you the name of the game, just "Master" with a number.

-Your profile games tab is only sorted by Game points at the moment. Can't sort them by rank, medals or name. Other ways to sort your games would be nice too, like by platform.

-Charts page don't show how many points you get. In v6 you could mouseover the rank to see points.

-Charts page don't show date of the score.

-Platform leaderboards is only for Chart points.

-I'm 3rd on Amiga leaderboard, even though I haven't posted any scores for amiga. Maybe it should only count points for your chosen platform in multiplatform games?

-Would like to see Lost Cups page/tab and also Lost Team Cups.

@InvasaoP1: Hello, and welcome to VGR. Sorry for all the inconvenients arrived with the new version 7, because the version 6 was really more convenient with all this kind of features and possibilities, and things were clearly explained in the FAQ section (https://www.video-games-records.com/en/faq), which needs a new update. Actually there is also many bugs and priorities, that magicbart is the only one to deal with, for the next days, weeks, and probably months.

Now, to proove your score, it is not a bug, you need to click on your record (time or score, underlined so linked to a new page).

Then, a new page will propose you to load a picture, or a video.

For the moment, I did not test it, and I don't know if there is some restrictions like before with the old version 6 (it was under 250 ko image, and jpeg file only).

I hope it was useful.

@Smoka: Thanks a lot for reporting this, then it can be better treated and archived in VGR forum files (really better organised since 2003, compare to Discord...).

One more time, I advice all other members, especially Admins, to use the VGR forum, now it works (even if it needs to recover v6 features).

I strongly agree with your list recommandations, some are really needed, and magicbart already know them.

magicbart and VGR needs to find helpers to develop this new version, or at least come back to the minimum important v6 features. Don't hesitate to propose your help, we will make a new Recruitements campaign soon.

• The bug of Gold/Platinum will be resolved this weekend, and all chart with a submition on V7 will be updated
• The form for asking proof too

WRC 2010 - Viggen 1 (Sweden) (PS3/360)

I tried to add a video link as proof, but it has duplicated a previously uploaded link (from 22/01/2021) instead.

Could the first video link (22/01/2021) now be deleted please? I cannot see a way to do it myself. I left a comment in the one to be deleted.

The new duplicate (05/02/2021) can stay, I tried to attach this video as proof of record by pasting the link in the address box. It said submitted and is now showing a blue square (v6 proof pending), but the video is not showing in the record screen.

More bugs:

• If 2 or more users are tied in a chart, when you click to see the best score/time, only a username is displayed when "XX members" should be displayed where XX is the number of players tied in the chart.
• For example in this chart, all users are tied, but users that have scores proven, should be displayed first, after pending proofs and last normal status.
• Users that appear at bottom in forum (users connected in the day) should be displayed alphabetically.
• Sometimes, many information in main page (Home) dissapear after I do log-out.
• Unable to see VGR using my Wii U, only I see orange screen.

Now, every detected bug in this topic since 3 weeks has been reported on our program list, and we will take care of them with a higher priority than simple suggestions (and than Discord casual discussions).

It seems that the Master Badges ranking is bugged.

I lost many Badges Points, so my ranking is now different (but surprisingly better, 4th/5069 members).
Maybe you should check the original topic "Master Badge Rankings", it helps for the calculation:

The Master badge ranking was updated only 3 weeks after v7 arrive. 

OK, i found the bug, i did an error an a query

A big bug, in user profiles there is a section named Messages. When you click in this section, messages from all users appears when only the messages from user profile should appear.
