I found an interesting mechanic, normally when you cargo SD with a cpu you get cheap shot and you lose a lot of your bonuses.
If you air up-b before or after the dk cargo release, you get hawk for 18k, smash-less for 5k and single move for 8k
So a gain of 31k just because you did a move before or after the cargo release !
This actually makes giant DK significantly easier as you can up-b to him, then cargo release and as long as you don't up-b too fast, you will make significantly more points than if you go for pacifist where the cpus kill dk for you.
So it's way faster and more consistent.
Lost 25k on Fox by not letting him SD, normally I cargo release him but because of the arwing, I didn't need to do this.
I sacrifice almost 30k for a guaranteed success.
Lost 12k on Mario by not just going for Hawk, really not bad for how consistent and easy this is.
Lost 35k on Kirby because the 2nd kirby didn't behave. I lost speedster and the order at the end but it's better than being hit.
If you can hit the first 2 without incident, usually the rest is free.
Lost 28k on samus by not using only aerial and losing speedster.
This is a very annoying fight so I went with whatever is more consistent.
Lost 29k on metal mario by not letting him SD
Lost 10k on hand by not waiting to KO the hand at 3:33, I just wanted to finish it as soon as possible.
Other than Kirby stage, it pretty much went how I wanted to get my first no damage with DK.
DK can get between 2 240 000 - 2 245 000 if you go for all the riskier strat.
I'll probably return at some point for at least 2.2 million
But for now 2 million point is more than enough.
