Also i see there was a idea of adding the Game Gear Version too. So i ask here too: pls add the Game Gear Version into the Master System scoreboard, so both can be played on 1 scoreboard

You're right, there is a problem in this game (MS and GG version), but also for the MD version.

You can't distinguish the game difficulty.
We can add a specific rule with "Video proof only" (full run), but then we will be obliged to delete older picture proofs. 
Or we can merge all records, simply with the best possible score.

I will contact other admins to know if and how we can technically do this
I invited other members who are still present on VGR in 2022, to answer here for comments.

 

No, at the time of the scores, the difficulty is not indicated so unless there is video proof by selecting the difficulty, we cannot prove the difficulty with just a photo of the score. However, there is a difference between each level of difficulty, fewer stages, fewer apples to throw etc.

I didn't played the GG or the MD versions but I have streamed the MS version on VGR's Twitch channel: You are correct you can not tell the difficulty by looking at a screenshot of the game. The difference can be made either by videos proofing or by the score: as LarXeneUS13 stated, the "practice mode" is just an easy mode with only the 2-3 firsts levels of the game playables, levels that have been shorten and made easier to play. For those who've only tried the regular mode, you collect 3 gems instead of 7, climb the ladder and the game ends in front of the witch even though you didn't retrieved Minnie.

All that makes the Practice mode score unable to reach the amount of the Normal mode. The cap should be somewhere along what [樹家]Undead did (14.380) I know how he achieved it but a regular Practice mode would more likely give you a score like what I did.

Notice how the power bar only goes to 3 stars, you can finish the game in Normal mode with 3 stars but it will be most likely that you have 4 if not 5 stars by the end, as you collect those along the way and needs it (it works like a health bar). Plus even if you lose those, you can still see an empty star. Not definitive proof but it might helps.

Do not merge the Megadrive/Genesis version with the two others. From what I could saw on Internet's run, the game is not the same. Sure it has similarities but it also involves vast new gameplay and an overal remodel of it. Pretty much like the newest version, it should be seen as a remake more than a pure adaptation.

I still have my runs on this game and I could upload some of them if requested but as it takes time I'd rather do it only if somebody still need some clarity over this.

For the GameGear's version, according to various websites it appears to be the second version of the game after the MS one, it looks like a regular port but I do not know enough about it or about the differences between the consoles to tell.

Also I've noticed the games groups have been translated, as far as I know the game isn't translated.

Btw, if you're looking for an oldschool plateform game this one is pretty challenging and not too deep into the disney world, you might want to try it. Cheers !

Don't worry, I will not merge the MS/GG version with the MD version, they are different.  
And of course, the newest 2013 version (Android, PS3, X360), not on VGR yet, is different too.

I will rename groups for MD/GG, it was badly done.
Note that I own this game on MD Mini now, that's why I saw this problem for prooving, and reopened this topic.

Finally, if screenshot/picture is not useful for prooving, the "Video proof only" rule will be applied for these games (MS/GG and MD versions). 
For reminder, prooving is still not mandatory on VGR. But if you want to proove, then you must make a video (so, since v7 release in 2021, with YouTube).
All picture proof will be deleted in these 2 games, unfortunately.
I will write here members who sent proofs, for reminder and in case of proof asks in the future, with an higher tolerance for them.

I should have stated that there is one way to notice you're on practice mode by one picture. If you look at my proof you can clearly see the 3 gems and the witch in the sky. At the end of the normal mode you would only see  Minnie there. The thing is it might be harder to capture as you lost control of the character when you reach the top of the castle, that's why most proofs are done just before the ladder.

Alright, it's no biggie as I should still have the practice run or I'll redo it one more time.

For reminder, here is the list of members who had picture proofs, which was deleted.
Only JesseLeePorter proof was made by video before v7, but I can't delete it (bug).
Due to the updated "Video proof only" rule, now please be more tolerant for potential (video) proof asks.
I wrote them all by MP, or with personal mail adress, due to the time that some didn't log.
