Question about video only proofs

Are we allowed to post a score if we do not have video proof for it? Because the rules for some games says that video proof only, but it doesnt say video proof required, so i just wanna make sure. 

Also, if we are allowed to post, will we have to delete the score if someone asks for proof?

I was planning on making a new save slot on Luigi's mansion darkmoon and playing the scarescrapers again without multiplayer. But if my scores will be deleted then i dont want to go through with the effort.  So i just want to ask someone before i do that

Don't worry, you can still post without proving. It only means that you must prove by video if you want to prove or if someone request a proof on one of your score. Hope it's clearer now! 🙂

Let's explain you with more details.

In VGR, you can always send scores without proofs.
But then you expose yourself to proof asks from other members, depending of the situation (notably and logically if you are well placed for the record or for the game, and your profile stats).
Remind that every score on VGR should be able to be proved, soon or later.
If you can't prove a score after a proof ask, then it will be deactivated, but not deleted.
After 30 deactivated scores (which appears as black squares in your profile), you are not able to send any scores on VGR, so blocked. Take care... 😉
We (Council members) made an update for this rule, a supplementary tolerance for members with more than 3000 scores (with conditions), but it's not applied yet. It should be theorically applied before 2023.

Then, it's always better to proove everything (by picture or video), as you can.
Or at least make saves in your system, and send proofs when you have time or if you think that you will not make better scores.

"Video proofs only" means that you can proove only by video (and not by picture), but it's not mandatory.

Note that with actual evolution of video games, different systems and options, it will be more and more important to identify the version that you played, and then see the platform/system informations.
And of course proofs are becoming more and more necessary. 😉

In your case, you only possess around 5% of proven scores, which is a really low ratio.
So I really suggest you to make better efforts to proove lot of them, especially when you have 0 proof in all the game, and even for "low" scores.
It is useful to know if you really played these games, and for your own legitimacy on VGR.
