gta san andreas meter/feet bug

in gta san andreas there's a feet/meter conversion bug. it's not like in real life (1 ft = 0,3048 m). here rockstar games made something wrong, and u get the correct result in meters if u divide feet by 11,111 as explained in gtaforums. maybe it's the best if there are 2 different categories (one for each unit) for every distance or height record. there's no possibility to change the units. neither by changing the game language nor the system language.

I dont understand why companies do this, it can't take too long to program feet -- metres accurately
