Extract notecharts

Hello, I don't know if anyone will be interested but I made this tutorial to help people who want to get good scores on Guitar Hero On Tour : Decades (it also works for Modern Hits and Band Hero). As you may know, it is possible to extract the notecharts from the Guitar Hero games (so you can foresee which note will come next, and then know when to use the star power). Those charts are available on the Internet but not for all the games, especially on DS. Guitar Hero On Tour charts can be found here : [url]http://www.scorehero.com/images/notecharts/contrib/ajanata/ontour/[/url] But the charts from the other games cannot be found. I spent some time on the scorehero board to find how to get them and I have found! I didn't develop anything and all the programmes I use have been made by other people. Let's say you want to extract the charts of Buddy Holly (on GHOT Decades). First download this : [url]http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5P0DTME3[/url] (which gathers all the programmes needed) et get a nds copy of the game. Launch dslazy.exe, open the .nds and click on "nds unpack". Copy the DSDecmpGH.exe in NDS_UNPACK>Data. In this folder (data) you see a lot of files. In particular, some .qgm files : "BuddyHolly_gems_bass_hard" containing the notes. Launch cmd.exe (on every computer I suppose) and go to the right directory (nds_unpack>data). Type in : DSDecmpGH.exe -ce -n1 BuddyHolly_gems_bass_hard.qgm (then all the other .qgm of the song). Replace the qgm file (that you just extracted) by the new ones created (most of the time they are dat file so change dat into qgm). Copy all the files that start with BuddyHolly into another folder, also copy the two GHOTChartConvert files. Here, execute : GHOTChartConvert.exe BuddyHolly Now, you have a .chart file ! Use chart2mid to get a .mid file. Finally, open the .mid file with chartviewer. (you can't open the .chart for some reasons) It is quite tedious but that's only because I don't know how to code and do a programme that can do all the job in one click. You can still have the charts and create some pathes to get great scores!
