Yes, technically the e-reader is an attachment for the game boy advance. I have also been able to use the e-reader with a game boy player, to play it on the TV. So perhaps we could say, "Game Boy Advance, e-Reader, Game Boy Player". I have scores ready to upload once the game is approved.
I saw on a relatable wiki of Mario that there's a lot of minigames. Are you sure these minigames are the only available ?

Furthermore, Is it a multiplayer game (involving a real person playing) or is it only a game with AI?
The wonder challenge minigames are just luck and don't have a score involved. It's like spinning a wheel and seeing what you win in the actual physical board game.
As for the Free Challenge minigames:
Fast feed yoshi doesn't have a score involved either, it's just trying to eat 2 coins as fast as possible, which can be done with 1 button press instantly if lucky.
Cast Away Mario doesnt involve a score, it is just trying to grab whatever creature peach demands. I have tried to make it competitive by using a timer, but that leads to times that are so short that it's unreliable without an autosplitter.
*Daisy's rodeo could be competitive, it has a built in timer that counts down. I guess it would be like wario's bluff where everyone ends up tying for first place because they get to 0 remaining eventually.
*Mario's Mallet could be competitive, if someone is able to prove that they hit the most amount of goombas with video. This would involve the luck of randomly generating the max amount of goombas (28?) and then also managing to get lucky enough to hit them all. Of course this would also eventually lead to a WR tie of whatever the max amount of goombas possible is.
As for the Duel Minigames, most of them are perfect, except for balloon burst because if you want to see how fast you can pop the balloon you can just hold A.
*Wario's bluff you get the same issue as some of the other's with a WR tie because the best score is 0ft so eventually plenty will achieve that.
***Bolt from boo, Time Bomb Ticks!, and Waluigi's Reign are all the most perfect 3 competitive minigames of mario party-e, because all 3 have seemingly limitless skill caps all depending just on how good a player is.
All in all that leaves 6 minigames in mario party-e that may be possible to compete with, and the last 3 are the best for it. Do you agree or do you think we can somehow squeeze some more competition out of the other minigames? I have a mario party-e playlist on youtube if you'd like to see what I mean.
It can be multiplayer in the sense that first one person plays, then the other person plays, so the controller gets handed back and forth between two people. For the records purposes though, the minigames have a "practice" version which lets you play single player and grind it out like that. I only have done records in single player practice mode.
Honestly, whether it is 1 player or 2 player I don't think it really impacts how the mini-game is played at all. In 1 player practice mode the mini-game is the same as in 2 player, you don't play at the same time, you just take turns playing the same game, which is the same as in practice mode.
One difference is how in practice mode, it says "Practice start".
As opposed to mystic falcons video where it would say "player 1 start" or "player 2 start".
Yes, here is another comparison with wario's bluff to see the difference between 1 player and 2 player:
This is one player:
Vs two player:
We can notice for this one that at the end of single player it says "try again" or "end", whereas at the end of two player, it says which player won. This is essentially how all the mini-games work, so making it video proof only would be great!
There is already a leaderboard on retroachievements, https://retroachievements.org/game/5007 , for the initial 4 minigames I suggested, that's why on my playlist I only list my time bomb ticks! as being an untied WR. Retroachievements utilizes emulators though, and the records don't have video proof which is why I wanted it to be on this site too. Also to see Bolt from Boo done in 4.45s since that's really fast lol.
