Always the same question : is this score cumulative ?

Yes. You need to get 100 points in nearly every Stage to get a 100 in the end. Every Zero game has this system. And its nearly impossible to do get 100 points :P The score is shown like this example: 78.4 Points

So is it really a record or is it just a statistic which show your progress ?

Its a record and no progress.
