I would like to re-open the Battle Hall discussion for Pokemon Platinum using this video:
Battle Hall Proof of Individual record screen
The video shows that the Battle Hall keeps records for individual Pokemon and NOT a single high score. The records show up for each Pokemon barring a banned 17 when you go through the Battle Hall. When I recommended this orignally I was told by one user (who shall remain nameless):
Records for every single pokémon are not accepted on VGR.
Not only are these the ACTUAL records kept on the game, the site has accepted records for other games when they are NOT records in the first place! Namely:
Pokemon Rumble Blast / Super Pokemon Rumble
Pokémon Rumble (WiiWare)
How were these random scores (certainly not records) allowed yet legitimate records have been refused?
I am going to make a list of records for Pokemon Platinum. I will either suggest them for this and eartGold and SoulSilver seperately or put all the Generation IV Pokemon games into one as a new game to make it easier for you guys. Either way, there is no excuse for you not to add them

Ha, I knew I deleted something by accident somewhere lol.

You have a good point here =D
I support your idea of adding these subcategories.
Yeah and the fact that the only good reason that was ever given has been allowed on the other mentioned games. Also, someone watched the video and immediately questioned why the individual records weren't on the site. He used Smash Brothers as his example.

xD
I really would like this subcategories to be added, this will make competition on this game bigger, like the best strategy for every pokemon will win ;D
I enjoyed a lot this game, because I played a lot Pearl, and thought "I would like this game to have a Battle Frontier" then they did it in Platinum
I played a bit on Battle Factory this week.
I think m251 are too high to be human o.o
Even I with years of play of Pokémon series can't reach him, not even close. He had to be extremely lucky for Battle Factory xD I faced a Nidoking who didn't miss his Horn Drills _

That is unlucky PMniac.
I am agreeing that these should be added(try to contain your amazement). These are actual records and are skill-based records(a good player may get 200 with Gengar, it would take a superb player to get 200 with Gastly etc.) and shouldn't be overlooked when similar games in the game universe have had individual records added

He's from Smogon, their best player has over 2,600 and the detail that they know about the Hall is incredible.
That is really unlucky. I got to 107 very easily with a Choice Specs Shiny Floatzel and then I accidently did the wrong move on a Magneton :(

Nameless.

Yup.
I think these records should be allowed. Each Pokemon has Unique Moves and Abilities and Stats.

Thanks for your support Dark Eon Master. I will be recommending it as a new game (Platinum/Gold/Silver) to make it easier for the adders either today or tomorrow. They can't refuse it either because I have too much evidence supporting it

I need to re-do Red. It's been a long time since I played it though.
I saw the video on SDA a few days back. I found it very weird lol.

If we go back to other games, there can be no real argument for these records not being added. Let's look at Rumble and Rumble Blast(and inevitably Rumble U):
The record you get is the score for catching the pokemon, not for catching the pokemon themselves. Catching the pokemon is skill based(albeit only just), the score you get is completely random(I can prove this by catching 10 of the same pokemon on the same level and the power/score will be different every time). To be honest game adders, you were conned into adding those records.
You can't add completely luck based records for some games, and not include skill based records for others.
If individual (random) scores are allowed on Rumble/Blast/Rumble U, you have to add these. Also, that would also mean that the level you catch wild pokemon can also be added, based on the Rumble example.
