It's a shareware.You can pay 5 dollars if you want.
Shareware works still very fine!

Shareware it's no freeware so what the difference between the shareware and the full version of this game?

Also do you have the full version ? If no you cannot add the game.
If yes, add in a group the race on the original game and in another group the DLC please.

Shareware has the same tracks than the registered version.You only get to have a Track Editor when you register(but it's really cool)

So it's kinda hard to make own groups for those tracks already in the game and DLC-TRACKS.There are probably hundreds of tracks in the Internet what people have done(and maybe put in the Net for download).

So my suggestion is:Let's play \"only\" lap records for those 176 tracks I have listed.It's easier that way and there is the whole game listed,what is one criteria in VGR

BTW:One option might be that if I found a nice track pack from the Net,I can later on modify topic for Normal Tracks and DLC-tracks.Then I add a link where you can download those downloadable tracks

How to use dosbox :-(

This is how to use DosBox,my dear friends:

1)Run DosBox.exe

2)write mount c c:\\games\\slicks1.4(this is only example.It might also be like mount c c:\\jeus\\slix) .Use the path where your Slicks-game is :)

3)then write c:

4)then write slicks(file is slicks.exe.This should launch the game)

REMEMBER!Always press \"enter\" after you have written the commands ;=)

REMEMBER PT2!If the game is too slow/too fast,press CTRL+F12 or CTRL+F11 to increase or decrease the game speed

That's okay and it's normal.When you open DosBox,this is what comes first:

Z:>

just start writing--->mount c c:\\jeus\\slix or whatever your game's path is.Follow the instructions I wrote earlier and it will work :)

I noticed that the track called \"Soccer\" doesn't work.You simply can't play this track

So can you kindly remove this track from the record list,thanks...?

Good news for French Slicks n Slide players:

Start the game with command:   slicks -l

then you get to choose Franchais as your language :=)
