Hi and welcome here.
Some fantastic racing scores you have.
6 months ago i also bought a Dreamcast and recently the SEGA Arcade stick. That stick was more expensive than the Dreamcast :)
But still untouched. I hope to play those schmups soon.
But so many platforms and games to enjoy, so little time :)

Cheers and happy (retro) gaming.

Thank you!

Yes, it is hard to beat the gameplay of the games on older systems, I enjoy them just as much as modern games. Picking up a retro console with some games reasonably cheap is great fun, I have had more consoles bought, sold, re-bought than I care to remember over the years, but I can't say I didn't enjoy it lol.

Time you spend enjoying, is time well spent, it may be short but at least its quality! happy

RemoteFortress don't want to compete anymore on VGR, unfortunately. 😓
Really worse, he also want to delete all his records and proofs on his profile. 😭

We will respect his choice, even if it is an surprising, heartbreaking and cruel situation.
After that, we can consider that he will be definitively removed out of our team...

Because he was a really nice competitor here and for our team, we can't forget him totally.
Then, sorry but let's remember some points:

With 3467 scores in 71 games, mostly racing games, he had 100% proven scores.
He succeed to get at least 1 platinum medal in 63 games, so in around 89% of his games here.
He won 38 MB individually, and helped to get 40 MB for the team.
We shared 17 games with him (notably Ridge Racer DS, Gran Turismo 5, Sega Rally Championship, V-Rally 2, WRC, Nights, Steep Slope Sliders).
I personnally already kept in memory some of his records values (only when I also get a game where he played too).
We won a team tounament (n°16, the last one) together.
He was ranked in 5th place in the Z ranking.

It's a big and significant loss. And even beyond records and games, because we shared some nice private discussions.
His presentation was : "A hero need not speak. When he is gone, the world will speak for him."

Goodbye...

You said you respect his choice, but after 10 months his scores are still up and not deleted.

You're right, thanks for the reminder, I don't understand why this has not be done (by magicbart).

I will ask to another Admin to do this, because:
- magicbart should have done this before, as he said in 2023... (planning problem ?):
"23 avril 2023 à 12:12
I saw your previous message. I will do it this week. "
-  it's hard and sad for me to delete a whole profile (moreover with 100% proofs, and moreover he was my teammate)
- I still respect RemoteFortress, even if I think it's stupid to delete his records, for him and for VGR community.
