Top 5 Records 2020
Something fun to read to break in the new year.
These are the top 5 records I came across this year worthy of recognition, (although they were not necessarily achieved in 2020).
1) WRC 2010 - Highest Jump - zephyraz. This is a genuine mystery, nobody knows how it was achieved not even him,
. Outstanding.
2) Hydro Thunder Hurricane - Ring Master Novice - Monster Island - BlackCydonia. A very, very strong record indeed, into the top 10 on the Global Leaderboard, it will take some beating. A really good battle between us a few weeks back also, Thanks and really well done!
3) Need For Speed Hot Pursuit - Eagle Crest - Racer - First Offence - MiseQ. The balancing act between turning and charging boost is a fine art when trying to beat these top times. This was very tough to get. Although far yet from the WR, I wish the next player good luck, with that traffic, you will need it.
4) Ridge Racer PSP - Time Attack - Special - Best Lap - Downtown Rave City - Smoka. I could have picked a handful of records here from RR, but it was this one that I remember the most. Getting the last piece of charge for the boost on the last corner, without losing speed anywhere was very very tough. It is a possible WR according to Smoka. Although I have beaten it, it took me right to the limit, well done Smoka!
5) Need For Speed The Run - Challenge Series - Coastal Rush - What a Rush! - DJ Atomika. Going up against the best NFS player on VGR should not be easy, and it wasn't. So many factors have to go well for you in these types of records, like getting the traffic to be out of the way, so you have to be patient to get a clear road, and when it comes you better make the most of it, it is intense. Although I have beaten this record, I suspect DJA will be back in the new year to show me who the NFS King is. We had a great little battle a few weeks ago also, (Return to Sender!), a really strong record, well done!
Honourable mentions - just about any record 33Tails has in WipEout Omega Collection - a really tough competitor, and also HappyKid in Ridge Racer 3D, some of those Category 4 times!
