This game already exists in VGR for Game Boy, Commodore 64 and Megadrive/Genesis.
Are you sure that the PC Engine you propose is really different to the 3 others ?
By the way, I agree it is always better to make differences for the systems at the beginning, if you don't know if the game exist on other systems.
But also, you can mix the systems to increase the competition, but ONLY if you see or know that there is no differences in the gameplay, speed, settings or specific options.
That's why I ask you: are you sure there is differences between the games you proposed, and the already existing games in VGR ? And for each game ?

Salut,
It's always difficult to generalise one game that came out on so many platforms.
I am new here and notice you don't like to split platforms. I am ok for that. But I prefer splitting it per platform and if not possible at least splitting it by generation. Like 8 bit computers (Spectrum/C64/Amstrad/MSX) 8 bit consoles (Master, NES,...), 16b, handhelds,... and so on.
There is always some difference. I can't believe the C64 plays the same as the PCE. The PCE is arcade perfect while the Commodore is not. Plus, some are developed by other developers.
There is even a difference between the Genesis NTSC US (by Tengen) and Genesis NTSC JAP (by Namco).
see this detailed topic:

hec, there is even a difference between the Cart version and disk version of the Amstrad:

:slurp:
Not easy
But ok for me if you add it to the current list. Cheers.
Klax can be added on the same platform which already exist.
So, the button "SPRCD" (PC Engine in VGR) should be added to the existing game, for C64 I suppose, which seems to be the same than PC Engine. Right ?
Note: the easiest cases for mixing game versions are PC/PS2/XBOX, PC/PS3/X360, PC/PS4/XONE.
Even for SNES/MD, we can have little differences between the games.
And we also have games released in 2 generations, which is not the main reason for splitting...
So we prefer split games first, and after discussions like this one, we can mix games if we see or know that there is no differences between them.
The adding time is crucial to determine if there is some differences, and we must do this for each game, one by one.
Because after, it is more difficult for admins to ask for each player the system played.
The problem is that VGR still don't have an informative window/text, to briefly explain the system, controller, difficulty, options, character used, ....
I already point out this problem, but nothing changed since 5 years...
