Removing Stats

If I was to sell a game, would I then request to remove all of my stats from that game? I'm probably planning to sell one of my Nintendo DS games because I barely play it. I can't break any other records in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. Maybe I'm not trying hard enough, unless someone gives me some hints/tricks on the events in the game.
