[OK] Future Consideration: Upgraded Proof

Would it be possible to implement a system in the future where you can change a picture proof to a video proof on the same score without beating the score or having to get a moderator to fix it for you? It would make things easier for the staff and I'm sure some people concerned about proving their records in the best form would like the option when videos come out or if they post pictures and later want to solidify their proof.
Obviously it's not for now since the video system isn't up but maybe for consideration later.
Thanks,

Multiple proofs are sometimes needed for video too - with long games videos do not fit into YouTube (for example) 15 minutes. Two/three pictures and multiple video URLs please. :)
Also, please, please, please do not lock a record when a score is given a picture!
- It is frustrating to have played for something only to upload a wrong picture (because of being tired) and then know you have to wait for the proof to be denied before it can be corrected. :(
- Sometimes after posting a proof and the moderators are busy (not a complaint), a new record is achieved but cannot be posted to the site because the proof is pending.

We can't do the second thing, if you know you'll beat your score the day after you did it, don't prove it.
Oh, that's a pathetic answer.

- Technologically it is either a very simple thing to do or the site is badly designed: edit the score & the picture gets removed as proof.
- I cannot see into the future, so how will I know if someone else will beat my score and spurs me onto surpass my own proof before it is accepted/denied?
viviengaetan :
We won't use youtube anymore, so we just have to fix a length limit higher than the one of youtube.
Ooo, mixed reaction:
- They'll be hosted here? Cool.
- I'll have to upload again but to somewhere else? That's too much hassle.

Yes technologically it's simple to develop, I'll see if nico and bart are okay with that, and see if we won't have problem.
I'm sure the code is there already (proven scores get edited & the picture removed!). Thanks for passing the suggestion on.
viviengaetan :
For videos, yes it's cool and bad at the time, but this time there won't be any problem of videos deleted.
How many GB are available? My videos alone take up 200+GB. ;) [Obviously, I won't be uploading them all.]
Also, I would like to get this back into conversation (sorry I derailed the thread slightly), so we all don't forget this one:

???
People can now post videos that are several hours long on YouTube...
Depends on your account type, originally. People that set up their accounts in 2006/7 as \"Directors\" can post of any length. It now depends on whether you've violated the Content ID search (like most gamers have). Basic upload is:
Videos can be...
* High Definition
* Up to 2 GB in size.
* Up to 15 minutes in length.
* A wide variety of formats
