Sonic Forces | Bomb Block 2 Speedrun in 22.86 Seconds!

Remember when I said 5 and a half years ago that I was never going to touch this level ever again? Yeah, well the Sonic Speedrunning Discord changed that. I decided to revisit this level the other night, and figured out a faster method of breaking the first set of bomb blocks that genuinely impede your path! I also got a bit more consistent at the second half, which really helped give more runs a shot at making it.

I was shocked that this run was the sub-23, because I felt like I waited too long for the bombs at the end to explode before making my final jump, but either the execution of my new strat in the first half was so clean that it made up the difference, or I wasn't as slow as I thought I was. Either way, very happy to have a sub-23 now! If I can ever learn the DsS strat at the end, I could definitely take this lower.
