I was wondering if a non-glitch section of charts could be added to Mario Kart Super Circuit. The "non-glitch" rules are simply: 1. No using lakitu to skip a large portion of the track 2. No lapskips of any form The tracks that would need non-glitch charts are: GBA Tracks: Shy Guy Beach Shy Guy Beach (best lap) Riverside Park Riverside Park (best lap) Boo Lake Boo Lake (best lap) Cheese Land Cheese Land (best lap) Sky Garden Sky Garden (best lap) Cheep-Cheep Island Cheep-Cheep Island (best lap) Ribbon Road Ribbon Road (best lap) Lakeside Park Lakeside Park (best lap) Broken Pier Broken Pier (best lap) Extra Tracks: Donut Plains 1 Donut Plains 1 (best lap) Ghost Valley 1 Ghost Valley 1 (best lap) Mario Circuit 2 Mario Circuit 2 (best lap) Choco Island 1 Choco Island 1 (best lap) Ghost Valley 2 Ghost Valley 2 (best lap) Koopa Beach 1 Koopa Beach 1 (best lap) Choco Island 2 Choco Island 2 (best lap) Mario Circuit 4 Mario Circuit 4 (best lap) Donut Plains 3 Donut Plains 3 (best lap) Koopa Beach 2 Koopa Beach 2 (best lap) Ghost Valley 3 Ghost Valley 3 (best lap) Vanilla Lake 2 Vanilla Lake 2 (best lap) Rainbow Road Rainbow Road (best lap) Note that this WOULD NOT mean the removal of the current glitch times that are in the charts, as they are easily reproduced on every version of MKSC. Just an additional set of charts to the game. On a last note, for those that may be wondering. The Japanese players "cstrakm", "ryouMKGBA", "Yatakoba" and "Youhei1" are old Japanese MKSC racers whose times I have obtained and uploaded to the site. They are all legitimate racers.

I have no issues with the top part of your post.
On a last note, for those that may be wondering. Can you clarify this for me? Have you personally created the accounts yourself and uploaded the scores yourself?

Yes. I initially asked permission to do it a while back (2012?) and was given the "Okay" to do so. I only submit my PR's under the account "Hahaae" though. The other records are done by the corresponding players.

English : For each chart there are no rules, so we can use the glitch. If we play to create rules, it hasn't finished adding new scores: "scores without using any mushrooms", "scores achieved in reverse" ... So we don't create these charts.

I think that's slightly out-of-context. The main Mario Kart world rankings have glitch charts and no-glitch charts for every game, simply because tracks weren't meant to be glitched, and many people view glitches as dumb and demotivating. Side projects such as "shroomless" or "reverse" are never a ranking because they are just a dumb waste of time.

English : The records listed on VGR are only those noted in the game The game does not distinguish between records made with or without glitches, so VGR will not do either. The main Mario Kart world rankings is free to distinguish the two cases, but I repeat: VGR lists the records noted in the game, and not on another site.

The only reason Nintendo doesn't do anything about glitch times is because they can't. Patches are not available on the Wii, and it would be impossible to remove all glitch times. In games such as MK7, Nintendo did their best to patch the glitches online (offline TT mode patching is impossible IIRC). edit: Also, the Nintendo rankings are not the "official world rankings", as they have been hacked horribly for about 3-4 years now, both filled with TAS, cheaters, and even having some legitimate racers removed. Their are 2 main ranking sites: The Player's Page: http://www.mariokart64.com/mkw/ And the Worldwide Top 10 website, which only has legitimate player's on it: http://98.156.6.103/wwtt.html Both of which include non-glitch rankings.

Sorry Hahaae, I know why you would want these records to be added, but This is the Biggest VGR Reason why they can't be added:
The records listed on VGR are only those noted in the game The game does not distinguish between records made with or without glitches, so VGR will not do either. The main Mario Kart world rankings is free to distinguish the two cases, but I repeat: VGR lists the records noted in the game, and not on another site.
If The Rule above did not matter, We would have to require Video Proof for each of the Non-Glitched submissions. VGR does not have a system where it requires Video Proof before submission, so there will be many players who can post their times and say they are Non-Glitched. Having to ask for proof on all, and waiting for their response and all the problems that will arise from it is not worth it for the Proof Admins and other people who have to deal with it, just so these records can exist in VGR. Oh and btw, shroomless, reverse, and other Rankings might seem pointless to you, but you wouldn't believe how many people have made crazy rankings like those on Youtube.

------------------------------ I think people sometimes take the types of records to waste their time with useless skill. It will be interesting if we could organize competitions with certain conditions and try the best time possible. Even that is not manageable. How can we know that the player who posts his time is good time? It's good for a contest with mandatory video. I do not think that members of VGR will be warm to the idea of trying a better time as possible without fungus without using Lakitu without glitch. What?? I'm sorry Hahaae. I do not see the point of separation for each category. Because everyone has a way to get a better time even if it is with a Mii, a slight figure, medium, heavy, etc.. There is always room for improvement no matter how to go about it. DEM: It reminds me of players who are considered the best Mario Kart games. Sometimes they lose their time inventing other conditions and get the best time in this category.
