I was requested to make a topic, so here we are.
Game: Wii Party
Chart: Mini-Games / Poppin' Pilots
Zimer used multiplayer to achieve his score. (inactive 2nd controller)
In his proof pic we could see that the partner mii isn't any of the CPU mii's, but a Guest mii a player can quickly use without making a new mii.
Score was already deactivated by admin, but then deleted by Zimer's request? Why?
I believe it was Aljuli who wrote on discord about Mario Strikers Charged Football. What were the suspicious charts?
999 goals in domination mode by Zimer and Lucario? Was there more?
Zimer commented on discord he used 2nd controller.
I request others to post more information on any other suspicious scores there might be. And Zimer can report if he has more multiplayer scores posted in any game. Thanks.
As requested, here are some of my findings while playing some recent games over the last couple of months. I don't invest more time in it as apparently using glitches, continues , save states/rewind feature and Wii virtual games on real hardware ranking tables is allowed here.
- Raiden II (PC):
We had this discussion already 7 years ago on Highscore.com : http://highscore.com/scores/PC/RaidenII/11378
“if 2-player mode has been activated the score carry over after continues. 1-player game has 8 continues but 2nd player can still join in. after that the score carries over past continues. +you can let 2-player die & use the extra credits.”
“also with 2 players there are twice as many power-ups.”
So he used 16 continues.
If you do post only a picture, post it like this: http://highscore.com/scores/PC/RaidenII/20988
See the 2nd player => it says ‘start’ so you can see player 2 was not played in that run. With Zimer that is not the case.
2) Wonderboy (SEGA Master System):
I already made a forum thread on vgr v6 but this is lost apparently. I just requested video proof for this as this was way more than the current Twin Galaxies WR of Steven Kerr (with live video footage). I also don't see any realy hardware in this picture.
Steven replied to me :
“I think the max possible score is around 750,000 to 800,000 points for a perfect run. I'd say he has used the level select trick and has kept repeating the levels to get that score.”
Again, if VGR accepts this kind of ‘tricks’, fine for me but don't count on me anymore posting scores as it totally ruins players that play fair & square. Getting so tired of people always grinding for cheats/glitches etc just to reign on their throne…
Same for:
3) Ghosts'n Goblins (NES)
550K more than the current Twin Galaxies WR..
For these kind of huge scores, I really think proof admin should check some other respected sites, compare the scores and be critically.
Plus , in the past I already made remarks that his scores weren't played on genuine hardware. So what is the result… VGR adds the WII Virtual on this platform. I don't need to remind you what you can do with Wii Virtual…
4) Others
Same goes for Galaga (NES), …..and numerous PC Engine games.
Seeing a recent score it continues: https://www.video-games-records.com/en/super-star-wars-game-g632/all-records-group-g2418/hi-score-chart-c42515/index
A 100x times better than on Twin Galaxies…
I thought Zimer was accepted back on VGR under condition that he provides full video (and that's from A to Z, not the last chunk).
I do hope proof admins will be a bit more critical before accepting such HUGE scores.
I already suggested to make a separate track for those scores (and not only his scores), like a track ‘all allowed’. So casual players are not demotivated and stay away.
Nevertheless , my purpose is just to give information as requested and it's not my intention to get him banned. Because frankly, I don't care anymore and stopped investing time in it.
Nothing personal.
Cheers
Raiden 2, a video was recorded (in 3 parts due very huge size in original way) giving a little idea what to do over and over.
Many games, I investigate details about tricks, I do tests and if the tricks call my attention in some way, then I play.
Galaga (proved vy video) and some other games I have videos.
GTi trusts a lot of Twin Galaxies and the website itself reveals things (some allowed and some not) that I analize before to play.
Super Mario Strikers is an other game that has the same pattern that Mario Strikers charged and have prevailed before than 2010 (posted scores using multiplayers and nothing happened). There are another games that have this posibility and scores are saved (Mario Party games is an example).
For info, link for Wii Party/Mini Games/Poppin'Pilots
Hopefully, I better understood the situation with the Smoka video there.
I will take time to study this case.
@Zimer, you have now 15 days to defend yourself and give comments and details.
What have you to say about multiplayer accusation in Wii Party ?
@Smoka, can you copy here the Zimer's image you saved (use the Insert image tool) ?
I requested deletion of score for that reason (maybe the action from my side wasn't appropiate).
And now I reposted the acore with a picture that proves that 2nd player wasn't used. I have planned to improve score and I hope to do as fast as I can.
Mario Strikers (GC and Wii) have the same problem which I didn't start and it was over than 10 years. I just followed other users.
Shrek Super Party game has and odd problem that let you to fool the game. The game is a serie of mini-games that you compete against other 3 characters of game (Human or CPU) and scores are permanetly saved in memory card. You need game, console (I used GameCube) and one controller. Enter to mini-game mode and select one character, then change your controller to 2nd port (default is 1 [a character appear]), then change to 3rd, after the 4th and last change again to 1st. Press A to confirm and select a mini-game. When you start to play, all players (except 1st) get inactive.
Opinions in this game are “divided” because I fooled the game with one controller.
So, Zimer talked about Shrek Super Party where you can basically activate 4 player multiplayer, by using just one controller when connecting this one controller to each controller port one by one. So the end result is the same as playing 4 player multiplayer with 4 controllers and leave others inactive, but activated by just using one controller. IMO this is multiplayer and should not be allowed, but please confirm. He posted scores in this game using this method.
Mario Strikers on GC and Wii need more investigation of players using multiplayer. What charts are the most problematic? Are these possible to prove with video or does charts need to be removed?
Mario Party games may have similar problems.
Mario Strikers for GC is for all charts and for Wii is for all Domination mode section charts.
My opinion is that Mario Strikers for GameCube should be deleted and for Wii, delete Domination mode section. For Shrek game I'd have to check again every mini-game. Without me, the game didn't have any single proof.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQBoTtIsUEE 100% on this track.
So many score In the Groove PC 100% always Fantastic, i know how much is difficult, so you are a God or not ? it's possible, i think, but i doubt ^^ and only the same proof screen for all..
As requested, here are some of my findings while playing some recent games over the last couple of months. I don't invest more time in it as apparently using glitches, continues , save states/rewind feature and Wii virtual games on real hardware ranking tables is allowed here. GTi
THIS is the truth !! i understand you lose your time to proove it, because NOTHING change, i'm so disapointed of VGR STAFF… Zimer is the most no-legit i see on VGR, but apparently it's normal ;)
I know what I'm saying, you cheat and you lie, take away your sister evidence because you hide something voluntarily; you have not been banned from cyberscore for nothing which is not my case. I'm going to pretend you're not there right now because you're a joke and it's normal for everyone to leave. I'm not sure I'll repost anything here by your fault.
Cheers
A short summary of things so far:
Confirmed by Zimer.
Wii Party - Poppin' Pilots: Multiplayer.
Super Mario Strikers (GameCube): Multiplayer all charts.
Mario Strikers Charged Football (Wii): Multiplayer in Domination mode charts.
Shrek Super Party: Multiplayer all charts.
Other suspicions raised towards these games:
Raiden II (PC): Zimer posted 3 gameplay clips on discord. Those show gameplay from the first loop of the game. GTi didn't seem convinced because a lot of gameplay is missing. Full video proof needed?
Wonderboy (SEGA Master System): Level select used.
Ghosts'n Goblins (NES): Level select used.
Galaga (NES): Short clip on Zimer's youtube, where he loops the score. Is this proof enough? He has posted 999990, but hits 999930 before looping. Is it needed to hit exact max or not?
Super Star Wars: Zimer posted a short video on discord.
Would need more info from narutokyuby. What games/charts? and show us the proof too. :)
French in normal post and Google Translator on Black.
Google Translator : Everyone agrees and even Zimer to say that he uses the Wii Virtual Console, it has been authorized and is sold by Nintendo so there is no serious problem. However it is the use of this one the problem...
Look at this page: WiiWAD.com
Many games are available and for free, but when I see that you can play:
- Columns (Megadrive)
- Sonic 1, 2 and 3 (Megadrive)
- Gunstar Heroes (Megadrive)
- etc.... I only quote games or Zimer post on VGR with Save States of course
The Wii Virtual Console is not sold by Nintendo to do this... Their goals being to stay on Nintendo games, right? Here is an excerpt from a rather interesting article:
Virtual Console ROM
Nintendo Wii VC Rom Games.
Virtual Console (VC) is a classic video game download service for the Nintendo Wii game console. Virtual Console has been described by Ninten CEO Satoru Iwata as "the video game version of Apple's iTunes Store", the service offers titles from older Nintendo consoles (NES Roms, SNES Roms and N64 Roma) and formerly competing systems, the Mega Drive aka SEGA Genesis Rom games and TurboGrafx-16. Nintendo has also mentioned the compatibility of MSX roms but has not yet announced any games from it. Gamasutra also announced the release of the Commodore 64 titles.
Built-in emulators:
NES - Nintendo 8-bit entertainment system
SNES - Super Nintendo Entertainment System
N64 - Nintendo Ultra 64
Sega Genesis - 16-bit Sega game console
Turbo GraFX - TurboGrafx 16
To install the virtual console and free WiiWare games, go to Wii Wad.com.
On PC, backups of most Nintendo Wii software are stored as WAD files. These are "containers" similar to setup files.exe on personal computers but specially designed to run on Wii.
This is just my personal opinion, but this is simply an emulator that VGR has allowed...
I continue with the pac-man game (NES) and here is the proof sent by Zimer
I explain something, registration: NAMCO HOMETEK, INC.
It is impossible that this inscription appears on the original Nintendo game, there are 3 versions (Nintendo)
Normal version: Title screen
Japanese version: title screen
Tengen version: title screen
The only place where this inscription is located is on the ROMS designed for emulators, as for example here:
Pac-man, écran titre Nintendo Classic Mini (with Save State of course) OR Virtual Console without Save State. Only two possibilities.
And here I agree and the registration: NAMCO HOMETEK, INC. is well and truly present
Pac-man, écran titre Nintendo Classic Mini (avec Save State bien entendu) Ou sur Virtual Console sans Save State.
I also have a problem with the game Cosmics Bugs: Proof sent by Zimer:
Registration: LEVEL COMPLETE is not possible on this game. And as if by chance the presence of a woman placed exactly where the name of the game is found, voluntary act therefore. Normally it should be written Comics Bugs since that is the name of this game.
Except that on Cosmics Bugs the inscription should be: LEVEL FINISHED. And behind the famous photo you hide the name voluntarily of the game which is Cosmos Bots
Cosmo Bots is the alternate title and free version of Cosmic Bugs. (ok, okay no worries), but this version and different AND only contains 50 levels! So we could set it apart on VGR with 50 Stages, but what bothers me is that Zimer to post absolutely EVERYWHERE so it is not this version that he used.
La version utilisé est celle-ci :
Cosmo Bots Version complète [EN]
Sortie :2004
Genre:Arcade
Développeur:Retro64
Éditeur:Retro64
Plate-forme:Win XP, Vista
Configuration système requise :minimum
Type d’édition:Pirate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Langue de l’interface:anglais uniquement
Tablatka: Non requis

Merci
Confirmation or not?
I will stop there for this evening, but I have other explanations to give if necessary, no worries. Thank you
