@Triple HHH: your message of 7th October 2021 for asking to Zimer a Switch platform proof was not ignored, despite my big efforts to clarify the situation in many accusations here. 
But you did not precise for which game do you want to see a proof, and now you don't precise which Super Smash Bros you want to see.
Please bring more precisions...

There was a lot of different games where Zimer was accused, so probably because there was a misunderstanding around this at the time. 
Then, don't hesitate to insist and go back on this now, with more precisions please, if you still have doubts.
Remember or note that VGR already studied the possibility for platform proofs, but it is not developed yet (since 2021, sorry). 
Anyway, we can always find an hybrid and temporary solution, to check the used platform (if needed).
This became more important for VGR to have platform proofs now, due to possibilities of confusions, but also due to different options/tools like savestates, more and more frequently added by the game developpers recently (or in the last decade).
You can even notice how important are platform proofs in this topic, or also in new others potential cheaters opened topics (that I still work on...), we take care a lot on this for VGR legitimacy, don't worry.

Like you said and understood, we do what we can (in our free time), help and (detailed) discussions are always welcome, in order to find the best compromise and improve this great site, for a fair, larger and joyful competition.

I second the demand of plateform proof for [Zimer] with his nintendo Switch on and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate running on. It shouldn't be hard to provide and not discarded for whatever reason.

Oh, and with whichever proofs is kinda suspected on this game would be nice.

I think one nice thing to prove, would be seeing him play live and make a record (and not just a screen recording thing).

I mean, in 99% cases a player with such a so long cheating history should be ban and not authorized to post any records here, but as long as he can stay, this way of proving should be the standard for him on every record he is putting there. 

Ok, there is finally new details with the complete name of the game "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate", on Switch.
These details were missing or not clear in Triple HHH and Foxof messages (there is many different Super Smash Bros games), that's why the asks were blocked.

Despite I don't have details on a specific record (among the 1311 gold medals of Zimer here), now I can finally consider this as a new (22th) accusation, and potential cheat.

@ Zimer: please prove a record of your choice with a video, showing you playing live.  
We need to see your game, gaming setup and your system, including a specific personal tag or signature to identify you.
You are not obliged to play and show your skills or strategy until you obtain an identical record, but a good score would be appreciated and will better show your skills and talents.
You got 1311 gold medals on 1311 scores for this game, and you played this game 5 months ago, so it shouldn't be a problem for you, as we suppose.

Due to the fact that you did not connect here since 20th November 2023, you will have a delay of 15 days to answer, starting from your next connection.

I've been following VGR for a long time. more than 12 years. Zimer has always shown himself to be a cheating player. I remember a time when he was banned for irregularities in his records. so the question is. Does this type of player have a place here?

I can't answer to this huge case quickly, but I will try to deliver you some short but detailed informations and reminders.

Since 2018 we know that he used a modded/illegal Wii.
Since 2022 we know that he used multiplayer, non-official versions, savestates and pause-savestates (now only acceptable when it is not mixed with original games where it doesn't exist, work in progress for another reminder).
Since 2023 (accusation n°21) we know that he used pause abuse, but it is allowed.

Zimer leaved the site since 20th November 2023.

Since 17th January 2024 there is a new 22th accusation (active again when he potentially come back, but with no answer since this date).

Since 6th June 2024, Zimer asked to remove all his scores, but not officially (on Discord).

After VGR Council discussions (which was particular due to magicbart strange position at this period), and due to all the problems with Zimer's case, we decided to keep his history on the site, but to deactivate all his scores.

It means his scores will still appear on the site, but will not count anymore for rankings (except proofs, maybe).

Shortly, we need to keep a trace of games or scores where there can be other problems (or cheats...), we can't spend again months (or 6 years) of time to demonstrate all of this, case by case.

Zimer's scores deactivation was not made yet, for technical reasons (october-november 2024).

Now we didn't had time to formalize this concretely, for other personal or organisational reasons (december 2024).

Now I will try to fix this myself (because other admins leaved the staff, or are busy), I hope it can be done quickly.

Note that an internal admins poll is ongoing this afternoon, where 5 admins already answered...

I'll give you a clear answer, and we'll stop wasting time on the Zimer case. Zimer has been permanently banned, he won't be able to come back to VGR.

Waiting for acts

According to Zimer request (He did pm me on Discord), all of his records have been deleted.

The ranking update will take some time because he had 16k scores.

I confirm that Zimer asked to delete his own scores. We need to respect his decision, even sad for him and us.

Despite many critics, bans and multiple proven cheats, there was lot of max scores that he probably made without his questionable "strategy".

But the way this full profile deletion has been done is not optimal, in many points, independantly of Zimer specific case.

It leads to weaken VGR site and admins, which is more and more dangerous today.

I explained myself with Yuri and admins in our Discord channel, but in my opinion there is many (bad) points that should be made public, I will think about it for later (it is very long to do).

Since June 2024, VGR is in a dangerous situation, despite few members wishes to stabilize the situation...

Even sad, I hope that this profile reset will encourage people to communicate more, play again and send their scores to VGR.
