Merci pour l'actualisation du classement Z Zephyraz !

Je pensais que mes efforts sur les 4 derniers mois de l'année m'auraient permis de gagner plus de points.

Peut-être que finalement, j'en ai juste perdu moins que prévu...

Espérons que l'année 2023 sera meilleure!

@JoyKreg: Si tu n'as envoyé que 9 scores sur VGR depuis ton arrivée il y a plus d'un an maintenant, et bien je te souhaite bien du courage pour progresser et faire partie du classement Z !
Ne t'inquiètes pas, prends du plaisir à faire les choses au fur et à mesure, je constate souvent qu'il faut de la patience sur VGR. 
L'essentiel reste de participer à une compétition saine, que ce soit sur 2 jeux, plusieures dizaines voire centaines... 😉

Je ne suis pas inquiet.

Je choisis toujours chacun de mes mots avec le plus grand soin.

Now the Ballon d'or is revealed earlier during the year, maybe the Z ranking will change too?

The new 2023 Z ranking will be made next month, and revealed in January 2024 (I will inform you later for the exact date).
I will continue to calculate it at the end of the calendar year, even if the Ballon d'Or changed (again) its date or way to reveal it.

Z Ranking 2023:

                                                             Evolution

Due to the temporary situation with Wii VC games, and due to the previous ban of Zimer in 2022-2023, his profile is missing again for this Z ranking.
For PMniac, this is a different situation, and I should myself manage this, I hope in the next weeks (sorry for the delay again, I’m still busy with lot of things).

 

Now, for 2023, congratulations to yicestmoi !
He continues to be the leader, for the 5^th time since the creation of this Z ranking.
Flothaboss and ThePandaEmperor are completing the podium.

For the best progression in 2023, greendayseb (+ 5 places) made nice efforts in various games (Gran Turismo, F1, WRC series, but also Angry Birds or Tekken series), congratulations.
Other highlights are:
1) Other nice progression comes from daftpunk who gained 4 places, like in 2022.

2) A new member integrate this ranking, Denetorn

3) Among the best: 
- Flothaboss, RemoteFortress, shrouwekuggah, KILLU and Pest are tied number ones for their proofs rate (100%, respect...);
- Tundra is still number one for his platinum medals (83% !);
- RemoteFortress is still number one in medals (almost 100%);
- KILLU is still number one for Master Badges (100%), and necessarily his average rank (1); 
- KILLU has still the best Game Points average: 34613 (but with only one game).

4) For the average rank (per game), Top 10 is:

I made this calculation for 58 members who filled the conditions to be in this ranking, profile by profile.

Everyone have specificities, some members have few games in VGR, when some (the majority) have hundreds.

It’s (still) really long (4 weeks), and I (still) hope for next year that v7 will finally propose a special tool to calculate all of that, like it was in v6 secret place…

Very happy to be back in the top 10.

Made strong improvements thoughout the year, with almost 1000 more platinums, and several MBs won against strong players (DJAtomika, Yicestmoi).

Will see what 2024 brings !

Due to all the problems in 2024 with admins: departure of Yuri and magicbart, strange and autocratic way to manage the site from magicbart and Foxof, the not fixed Zimer’s case, and absence of fixed bugs since v7 arrival in 2021, but also personal problems, I hesitated a lot to take 1 month of my time to maintain this Z ranking alive.
Please do not comment this, or do it elsewhere in another topic.

Well, even not real, at the end I’m still curious and motivated to see this ranking, because it reflects better the quality of its members, in my opinion.

Anyway, I remind you that this ranking is mainly based on values of quality and reliability among the best of you.

Due to the temporary situation with Wii VC games (like in 2023), and due to the previous ban of Zimer in 2022-2023, his profile is missing again for this Z ranking.

He continues to be the leader, for the 6^th time since the creation of this Z ranking.
DJ Atomika and greendayseb are now completing the podium.

For the best progression in 2024, Denetorn (+ 10 places) made nice efforts in Pokémon games), congratulations, he’s very active since 2 years.
Other highlights are:
1) Other nice progression comes from RetroGenie and Nillew who gained 6 and 5 places. Probably a beginning for back to normal.

2) A new member integrate this ranking, Alberto. It’s very interesting, for the diversity and quality of his profile. He proves everything, perfect, it helps a lot.

3) Among the best: 
- Flothaboss, shrouwekuggah, KILLU and Pest are tied number ones for their proofs rate (100%, respect...);
- Tundra is still number one for his platinum medals (75%);
- Delgan is number one in medals (almost 100%);
- KILLU is still number one for Master Badges (100%), and necessarily his average rank (1); 
- KILLU has still the best Game Points average: 33929 (but with only one game).

Yes, of course... but there was many other priorities of developments since 2021: not all has been made, priority orders were not respected, and new features were developed without agreement nor communication. 😕

Also, you said that there will be no more developments before 2026 ☹️, so anyway... now I'm waiting for new or other developers, or I try to focus on priorities (that I can do) for the VGR community.

Even if I'm really and personnally attached with the Z ranking I created, I try to continue to be respectful and objective for other priority tasks (which is not the case of everyone here, sadly).

I did all I can do as the only developper available. I had to add games, validate proofs, post articles, update system, answer users question. I wish i could have help from council.... 

Despite all the problems in VGR (now and since 2024), note that the new 2025 Z ranking is made, and will be revealed in January 2026...

The things are not going better since magicbart decided to leave, comeback and now act alone, indroducing a lot of new bugs, including some which arrived with v7 in 2020 and were fixed since.

Old fixed bugs are back, that’s the new reality…

For the Z ranking, you have also to know that all VGR rankings are again not real this year, since I couldn’t technically continue to fix the consequences of some cheaters cases.

Well, even not real, at the end the database is still there, hopefully. Then I’m still curious and motivated to see this ranking, because it reflects better the quality of its members, in my opinion.
