A few months ago you only needed to beat 1 player but I almost took the lead by only playing essential sudoku that's why they changed the system

The constant battle at the top of the VGR medal table is interesting, something Cyberscore hasn't really experienced yet.

With Nintendo S.T.A.R. closing in on Packattack's #1 spot on Cyberscore though, it makes me wonder what the table would look like with Arvain and yicestmoi's scores included.

when I became my carrer of recordmen in 2005, I was on VGR and on cyberscore, with no preference; I was posting some "goods" records on gran turismo series.
in 2007, the two communities have had doubts on my records, and I saw two differents things:
on VGR, I received some proofs asking, I sent my pictures, all the membres saw it, and the situation was cleared.
on cyberscore, I received a private message saying something like "your records are impossible without cheating, so they have benn deleted", it was the 17th of july 2007, last time I gone on cyberscore.
after that, I invested only on VGR with the results you know.
the main problem of cyberscore is the opacity of the proofs; while you can't see the proofs of other members, it will be without me...
could I be better than packattack on medal ranking??? I think yes, because all my forza's time done for VGR were stop when I get the first place, and I can upgrade all of them; lots of work but interresting challenge...
but I know if I'm able to beat packattack, the rules will be change to make him staying first.
so, there's two big reasons for me to not go on cyberscore.

that's exactly what I said, the system was change for not see Flothaboss first but packattack.
it would change too if one day Arvain or me would be first. I have no time to loose to make something nullified by a rules change!

According to me packattack deserve to be first in CS because all his records are consistent that's why it would have been a shame if I beated him with only one game ^^'

I don't own a wii. All my GHs and RBs are on ps2 and xbox.

What method do you use to FC songs? I believe I beat 2-3 of your records a year or so ago and just haven't really felt like playing again to take back any (only one I could really take back is "I Love Rock and Roll" on GH:SH anyways; you're way better than I am on GH). I get really close to a lot of FC's but make dumb mistakes, or I can tech FC a song but never actually do it in practice (Ex: I've tech FC'd every part of TDWDTG except for Victory Solos K and Q I think; it's the 2 ridiculous parts of the song).

I have a problem as of late though; my whammy bar broke on my GHWii guitar (I play them all except for GH3 and GH2 on Wii), so I really can't touch any of the top scores. Another big problem is that I'm too lazy to look up SP paths; I believe my 505k "Fury of the Storm" was 94% hit (no whammy bar used because it's broken ), while your 700+k is 96% hit lol. Also, I'm impressed with your patience. If I try to play anything lower than Expert, I just get bored and stop.

Ah, regarding your broken Wiitar, I wouldn't know The only whammy bar that has failed on me was on my ps2 SG. My LP whammy bar works just fine, and I've had this guitar since may 2008

Also, yeah, if you're not going to use SP paths, then you won't beat my scores I got MOST of them using an sp path. My 720+ k on FotS was also a HUGE lucky moment (like all my big scores on impossible songs), so there's no real advice for that : keep playing, get better, and use SP in the most relevant places. 505k isn't too bad at all, really.

Regarding TDWDTG, I think you mean solo R, not Q ;) the big ass solo at the end. Intro, devil solo H, victory solo G, verse 2 and verse 4 are also quite on the impossible side of things Anyway, best advice I can give you if you want to get better is : don't try the impossible stuff for the sake of trying the impossible stuff. Play the songs you're already good at, and keep focusing so you don't make silly mistakes. This way, you'll FC songs slowly but surely, and you'll keep improving along the way, even if it's not very noticeable at first.

Worked for me.

And yes, patience : that's what's needed the most to play through all the difficulties/games/instruments. If you're easily bored, you're not going to beat my scores : they're boredomproof.

Ah, thanks. I was playing GH3 for a while, but the buttons on my 360 LP controller started acting weird (not responding at times, or if I strum too hard, which is a problem because I use hard strumming as a base of timing things. I basically strum as hard as GuitarHeroPhenom did back when he played GH). I still intend to DL the Dragonforce pack and have a go at that, as well as the soloist pack. The rest of the DLC packs don't really interest me.

For a year or so, I have tried to base my scores off of Hraesvelg. I noticed that I was near his level around early 2012 and I started making it my goal to beat him wherever I could. I've beaten him in many songs now, and I have roughly ~50 scores that I haven't submitted to VGR because I constantly forget about it, most of which beat him. It's a good thing that people such as Gamingfreak3 or GGamerman are not on VGR, otherwise there'd really be no way to beat their scores lol. Especially Gamingfreak3; he's FGFC'd every GH I believe lol.

He's not the only one, but yeah I think he has. Also, good luck with the DF pack. I don't even know if that is still available. It's been 5 years now Soothsayer is nice, but the solos are nonsense. For the Love of God is awfully boring and painful, and Surfing With the Alien is just terrible all around : easy stuff, then impossibly fast trills. Only enjoyable for people who :
- like those artists
- like to play impossible stuff and/or are good at it

It's good to have a goal sometimes, it helps knowing where you stand. For example, if I were to start playing Forza, I'd have Yi as a constant landmark. If he wants to play GH, he'll have me

Soothsayer isn't that bad, really. There is a custom for Wii that has it's exact chart and I've only missed a handful of notes on the solo. Surfing with the Alien though... I'm already bad at trills, so I don't even know if I could pass it at that speed. The impossible stuff can be fun and even make you grow as a player. I know my strum timing / speed went up when I was finally able to pass the "Soulless 3" and "Lollercaust of Thought" custom songs.

I do enjoy challenges, though. I almost never tap anything (that's really the only reason I haven't FC'd Victory Solo K, is because I hate tapping). I think the best I've done is FC'ing the entire "Fury of the Storm" solo with 1 hand back in mid 2012. Some songs are just nightmares without tapping though. Took me a while to 5* "Satch Boogie", then I randomly tried it a month ago and got 5* with no whammy bar, which really took me by surprise. Only song that I truly struggle to pass is "Jordan" on GH2, and it's not even due to the chart. Just that the GH2 engine is much more strict than what I'm accustomed to, causing me to miss a LOT of notes through the solo.

Arvain a 99% de ses platines provenant de guitar hero / band hero / rock band
j'ai 68% de mes platines qui proviennent de la série forza

donc même si je suis là où je suis grâce à la série forza, j'ai quand même 32% de mes platines qui ne viennent pas de la série forza; autrement dit, si c'était uniquement GH vs Forza, je serais loin derière

Et un tiers de mes platines est manquant, vu que je suis tout seul comme une QUICHE à jouer pour des Golds !!

Mais tant pis.

On entre dans le dernier quart de l'année, et finalement, Arvain et yicestmoi se battent toujours au coude à coude !

Arvain et yicestmoi sont toujours au coude à coude, se séparant loin des autres. Personne ne semble pouvoir les rattraper... 33Tails, en gagnant peu de médailles, concède 2 places, respectivement à Flothaboss et son coéquipier narutokyubi. Zimer. réalise la meilleure progression, avec 1204 platines gagnées, ce qui lui donne la 6è place. BlackShark et happykid entrent tous deux dans le classement, au détriment de packattack, 14è, et TripleHHH, 17è.

encore une fois, j'ai été devancé dans mon analyse par pkaddict58, ce n'est pas la première fois que nos pensées se rejoignent...

Si André Luis ne revient pas, d'avance félicitations à flowthaboss pour sa future première place aux platines à la fois du mois, grâce à ses futurs posts sur les scores que nous savons : rien que sur flow 20 000 + il y a actuellement 6 800 scores solo de daftpunk non glitchés, soit 6 800 platines potentielles pour un glitcheur. De quoi choper la première place aux platines, et mettre quelques platines de côté pour remporter un autre tournament, en cas de non retour d'un second glitcheur en ces lieux. D'avance bon courage à Arvain et yicestmoi pour la bataille pour la seconde place aux platines  

je pense effectivement que Flothaboss sera le grand vainqueur du classement platines 2013.
depuis le 19 novembre et la fin du tournoi qu'il a brillamment remporté, il doit scorer glitcher compétionner pour nous écraser à plus de 10000 platines le 31 décembre...
ceux qui ont dit que les flow n’influenceraient que le classement points doivent revoir leur copie:
--flow écrase le classement points
--flow écrasera le classement platines
--flow permet à lui seul d'être en tête du classement preuves
--le classement badges est le seul épargné.

cette année, je ne bataillerai pas pour ce badge, en partie pour ce qui est évoqué au dessus, mais surtout pour des raisons privées; avec ma femme, nous nous sommes donnés à fond pendant le tournoi et la deuxième place finale malgré le handicap du nombre, mais depuis, c'est le blackout, plus d'envie, et surtout plus de temps...
j'ai une maison à entretenir, un terrain de 1200m², un travail à temps plein, je suis délégué syndical dans mon entreprise, délégué des parents d'élèves dans l'école de mon fils, et je fais beaucoup de sport... j'ai surtout deux magnifiques enfants de 1 et 4 ans, et le projet de continuer à agrandir la famille.
Bref, plus trop de temps pour les jeux vidéos... je continue de jouer, j'ai toujours des projets (badges, platines, preuves...), mais plus le temps nécessaire pour les concrétiser, alors j'avance moins vite, mais je continue de me battre...
Bref, j'ai 30 ans, et la rivière de la vie suit son cours

Je comprends toujours pas pourquoi ça n'a toujours pas été fait ...

J'vous donne même un motif :

Le nombre de records sur cette série de jeux représente un trop grand pourcentage du nombre total des records de l'ensemble des 3847 jeux vidéos de VGR. (à calculer.. mais au delà de 5% c'est ABUSÉ)

De plus, les records ne valent rien car glitchtés, les jeux sont gratuits, facilement piratables et hackables.

Pour finir le temps nécessaire a la réalisation d'un "record" est trop faible et ne présente aucune difficulté donc aucune compétition

(On peux toujours me contredire car je n'ai jamais joué à un de ses jeux, je parle avec mon point de vue extérieur à la situation actuelle)

Enfin : je préconise la mise en place d'une règle d'or pour VGR :

On ne doit pas laisser un jeu ou une série de jeux DÉTRUIRE (oui, c'est le mot) l'un des 4 tops 100
du site. Si cela arrive, le jeu reste sur VGR mais ne compte plus pour les tops 100.
Dans ce cas présent le jeu à détruit 3 tops 100 et donc il mérite le bannissement des classements généraux

Voilà, c'est mon avis.
