Can Someone Explain to Me What The Platinum Medals Work and What They Are For? I Tried To Figure It Out, But Couldn't Find What It Is For...

you earn a gold medal for being in 1st place on a chart.
you earn a platinum medal if that gold medal meets two criteria.
1. It can not be tied with other players.
2. The chart must have at least 2 people on it.

If you've got a platinum medal, you've got the gold too? or the gold is just for tie?
