Hello VGR !

After seeing the proofs of Robotrock on Cndy Crush Saga, I saw that he used the Facebook version of the game (so the web version, which does not allow to send records on VGR) for his records. I send him a PM to ask him about my doubts. He answered this :

He said that he played on the Facebook version.

His records are not valid for VGR and must be delete.
I send him a PM to let him know about this topic to ensure that he could answer here.
Thanks.

Merci d'avance.

Hi Ultim'D.

For the precision, even if records are kept between the FB version and the mobile/tablet version, he needs to download (and so, buy) the application on his mobile or tablet.
Then, his posts will be related to iOS or Android platform and not in such PC platform which doesn't exist for this game.
So maybe you don't have to delete his scores right now, and just ask him to proove every scores he did using his mobile/tablet.

If he doesn't want to download the application, it's OK to delete his scores.
Regards,

Thank you niconoe for your answer.

I thought that we said that since the Facebook version (which is called Candy Crush) hasn't got the same name as the iOS or Android version (Candy Crush SAGA), a score made on the Facebook version wasn't accept on VGR. But I may be wrong, because I can't find on the forum the topic were I read this. But if you tell me it's ok if he download an iOS or an Android version to proove the scores (which he didn't realize on those version), then it's ok for me too.

The main problem behind the facebook games is that we soon will need to know on which platform the game has been played. Facebook games has no platform as some FB games may be downloaded into a software PC and make them on the "real" PC platform. If this software doesn't exist, the game can't own the PC platform.

Also, if the developpers defined a way to keep scores between facebook and mobile version, it surely means the levels are quite identicals. If they're some differences, the scores will not be transfered.

Finally, it remains on VGR that you need to "buy" the game to play it and post it. Facebook games, just like flash games, are totally free (I don't mean free games aren't allowed on VGR, but we need to limit them to avoid accepting anything and still have people arguing we accept all iOS/Android sh*t games).

OK, thank you niconoe

Anyway, we need an answer of Robotrock here in order to move on in this case.

Up, because Robotrock didn't say anything here.

At least, we must remove all his score with the proofs. I think we also should remove all his other records since he didn't show his motivation to send proof with an iOS or Android version of the game.

Thank you smile
