[admin] Toca Race Driver 3: Questions

So I've just bought Toca Race driver 3 and it seems as if the top player "DScoffers" may be using cheats to achieve his times.

This leads to my first question, are cheats allowed in games? Cheats included in this game that I'm currently addressing are able to increase your speed and another that makes your car tiny and able to control your vechical better.

You are able to unlock these by beating the game, which is definitely a very hard task. Or you have a number 0000 through 9999 which leaves 10,000 different possibilities for codes and only 7 of them are available online.  I don't believe this is fair to use codes on any game but I'm wanting to know for sure and what we could possibly be able to do about this.

1stly: CHEATS are not allowed on VGR, for any games. So it is for Toca 3.

2ndly: I've played this game, TOCA 3 and wasn't able to beat dscoffers times in several categories, even with long hours of training and tries (despite i'd say i'm very good at racing games, with several Top 10 world ranking records on GT, NFS Shift, CTR, Trackmania DS...).

I can't give you any conclusion, but he is either the master of the game, or using a particular technique that i didn't discover, which is possible.

I've been able to do some of the Oval circuits in the various vehicles. I'm running flat out in the turns most of the way and I've tuned the Gear ratios as best as I could. There is almost no way I'm able to shave off nearly an entire second or more to even get remotely near him. The only way I can imagine him running that fast is with cheats available in the game.

I will try other tracks/vechicals in the game and will give an update if I can get closer to him.

Update: I tried two more tracks and still his scores are just a little to far out of my reach. The closest I got was .5 of a second and still the time I got felt absurdly perfect.

Update 2:  I've managed to beat DScoffers on a track by .01 seconds! Spent 2-3 straight hours just trying to get it. I want to beat a few more of his times before I retrack on my statement though.

I remember i tried hard on the Touring category with the basic Clio. Could you mind trying for me?

I think that this guy might just be very good at the game but still, a few records are not possible without cheating I suspect. I will continue on pushing my limits.

What platform did you play Toca 3 on? And do you still own/play it?
