Can video games be addictive? If so, what games have you been addicted to?

In the past I've been addicted to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and San Andreas for PS2.
I guess I was also addicted to Resident Evil 2 and 3, even Metal Gear Solid. I can't think of any other game that I've played through over 50 times.

More recently, I've found myself addicted to Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for the PSP, I got it on June 10th and I've already logged 76 hours on it, and I'm not even finished with all of the missions yet, and the DLC hasn't even come out yet.

It should be the opposite, M - F for girlfriend, weekends for games.
If he'd rather play games instead of spend time with his girlfriend, then he deserved to lose her.

Edit: Me I would love to find my one game that I'm addicted to. Would cost me less money always buying new one. One guy I know only play SSBM since it got out.

As far as I know, but I don't know him that much.
But it's not only videogame. Some people dedicate their life to the study of Chess or Go or other game.
