I don't know how many time I've tried to beat your record, but yesterday I finally did it. :)

It's a weird game anyway, you need at least as many luck as skill, if not more. My run was definitely lucky.

Absolutely, if you've been hit by another car in the higher stages, the race is over. You really need a lot of luck to reach the finish line. One time, I made it into the last level, but that was some years ago - ans I can't remember my score. ;)

I thought that my next goal is Snake Rattle n'Roll, but I just saw that you finished the game. Damn, I never made it this far, I always lose my last life in the first ice stage. :D

Yeah that was almost like a miracle hehe. I finished the game several times before, but with continues. Then after joining VGR and adding the game, I made just one further try to get a score and suddenly could beat it even without continues and I think with a few lives in stock. Weird. ;)
But it's (almost) all about practice. I could get quite consistent, even up to the 1st ice level. But the 2nd ice level and end boss never got close to being easy... Not to say the end boss was a totally unfair bastard. Sometimes I beat him and sometimes I lost over 10 lives and went Game Over.

I finished Snake Rattle n'Roll about 10 years ago with the help of Game Genie, but is was still a pain in the a** to kill the last bigfoot. I don't know how long it took to kill it, but it was horrible. So you got my respect for doing this witout continues. Impressive. :D

And Battletoads... humm... no. :P
I think am going for the maxscore in Super Mario Bros. 3, shouldn't be a problem and doesn't take too long.

I just got the MB to PAC-MAN (GB). Unfortunately, Red Sun [RS] is ranked 2-4! Thus, our team, the MB is still denied. I hereby call on the PAC-MAN (GB) to get MB!
